My husband and I, got to the ship on the 1st March 202 to be told go away for 2hrs. Umm we thought not a good start!.
Before boarding no refreshmentsoffered which normally happens on MSC.
Room was clean on arrival, and was cleaned daily. No attention to detail but that was fine, felt sorry for the young man as he never stopped.
The ship was like a hop on hop off bus, so we had safety ...
We are currently on this terrible cruise
Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us.
1. So many sea days
Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees.
As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...
MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...
We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...
Like most people we spoke to we chose this cruise because of the port stops in Alexandria, Safaga and Jordan ( Petra ) all of which were cancelled. Other cruise lines were still using these ports. Also a lot of passengers only found out about the cancellations either when they embarked or after flying in to the embarkation port. Too late to cancel. Disgraceful treatment led to a lot of disgruntled ...
Let me start by saying staff are FABULOUS however the rooms are very shabby, like a poor quality 3* hotel at best. They are kept as clean as possible by the staff but the carpets are grubby and stained, the sofa also stained and grubby from age not a lack of attention from staff.
Pool areas are really awful, like a bad version of a Butlins camp, overcrowded and horrible walking through tatty ...
The ship is nice and room was lovely, however we had problems with the shower, every time we used the shower the bathroom flooded which apart from being a hazard it was an inconvenience. The ship was full and there were queues everywhere especially at the buffet, pools were always crowded, most of the staff were not helpful maybe because of the overload of work due to many people being on board. ...
We chose this cruise as we’d cruised with MSc 9 times before and been on this boat before. We also chose it because of the stops.
The boat is very tatty and needs a re fit. Our balcony was unavailable 2 days of the cruise due to maintenance. Cleanliness on board is non existent. People walk into buffet restaurants in bathers bare foot and in damp towels and aren’t challenged. Pointless having ...
First of all, you have to pay to get off the ship? 15 euro per person.
If you want drinks.. This is including water it is 50 euro per person per day! By the way that’s not even including alcohol.
$400 aud for wifi for 7 days that doesn’t even work. When we asked to cancel it they wouldn’t even let us. Even one of the workers admitted this is all for the money.
The food is disgusting. ...
I was offered 50% discount on a future cruise after breaking my fibula on MSC Seaview- chose a 7-nt Med cruise.
•MSC changed the itinerary before departure, no longer visiting Croatia (added 2 nts by way of compensation)
•embarkation was chaos
•room was ‘tired’ & needs a refurb
•bathroom sink water didn’t drain, called plumber to fix
•connecting balcony door rattled all the time (I ...
