An Excellent Cruise but with a few minor niggles

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary - Apart from Venice & Kotor - all the other ports were a new experience for us. The other attraction was there were no sea days, so every day was an opportunity to explore a new place. The Ship was very nice (shame about some of the other passengers) but we found that the main dining room seemed very cramped in comparison to a number of the other ...

I am rating this cruise Excellent, basically due to the Itinerary. You are in Venice, Split, Santorini, Mykonos, Dubrovnik, Ancona, and back to Venice. Here are the pluses of the cruise ship. It's a smaller cruise ship compared to the "mega ships" out there today, and that's the type of ship I personally like. I do not care for the super large ships. It reminded me of old world cruising. The ship ...

This was our 8 cruise and the second with Msc. We choose this cruise because of the itinerary. We are a couple in our late fifties. Embarking in Venice took several houres and here they can do a better job. Stateroom. We had a suite om deck 10 and it was very nice with a good bed, lots of space, å nice bathroom and a good balcony. Everything was kept nice and clean ...

As I read through several of these reviews, I'm scratching my head, but okay, I'm going to post MY EXPERIENCE as best I can and hope that folks understand that not only am I a person whose character can be selective (not snobby) and want quality for my hard neared dollar. Also, since there is not a lot on this site about this specific line and this specific ship, not trying to deny other people ...

This was the first time we sailed on the MSC line. We were pleasantly surprised as we had heard many negative reviews from Americans but the ship and this journey exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was what we were looking for and stops we had not been to before including Malta, Greece and Genoa . The ports were great each one had its own beauty and history. The only port that was a ...

I felt I had to write a review following some of the awful ones others have written, We spent a week on MSC Lirica & had an amazing time. The ship was beautiful with excellent staff. They always went out of their way for us. The food was great. We ate in the restaurants & the buffet area. The choice was endless in the buffet & I find it hard to understand why people are criticising the food. ...

Before cruise started we stayed in Venice for 2 nights. Was our 2nd stay in Venice.. So this time we walked basicly all the alleys. In cruise we booked some of msc excursions. We really enjoyed. Especially the dead sea. Will definitely visit there again. If the 3 islands we visited I enjoyed Réunion the most. Very clean and organized setup. We had a great time. Will definetly recommend to my ...

This ship was lovely plenty of bars and food was lovely in the Restaurants. Different menu every night. If you didn't like what was on the menu they always had chicken salmon and something else can't remember. You could also have T-Bone steak but had to pay for that 20euros and it was lovely. Yes sometimes food was warm but just speak up and they will get you another plate of food or choose ...

I chose this particular cruise because of the ports of call, and no ‘at sea’ days. Booked well over a year in advance, I started reading reviews on many different sites and was becoming a little concerned but thankfully fretted over nothing (surely couldn’t have been worse than my P&’n’O experience earlier this year. Onboard announcements were in a number of languages, English being first, and ...
