We booked this cruise at the Nurnberg Germany Airport when my wife found a Bargain Price...08 to 20 Feb 2019 We normally take time and search for reviews but we did not this time, our mistake. I had recently had my 3rd back surgery and was in a walker when we booked so the travel agent asked for wheel chair assistance. When we Arrived no Wheelchairs. My wife inquired and was told we don't do ...

We boarded the older unfancy SINFONIA HOP ON HOP OFF Ship in Civitivecchia/Rome for the winter Med itinerary which included Malta and Greece. We read all the luke warm reviews and decided to go ahead and try this different cruise lines, whom were the only one to have this itinerary in the winter. I am glad this wasn’t our first cruise. There were plenty of English speaking pax aboard from all ...

Lower your expectations to avoid being disappointed

MSC Sinfonia is one of the oldest ships MSC has on service. Is a small boat when compared to the others the company has. The ocean view cabin is quite small, and even worst than that, not all the cabins, under the same category, are from the same size! I found out this because I booked two equal rooms and one was bigger than the other, so be careful with that. I considered myself ripped off by ...

It was the first world cruise for msc. we had done two other world cruises with holland america and costa cruise. When we compered the msc cruise with the other two was very poor in several areas. Cost: we paid a lot more money for this cruise so we espected more. The cabin with balcony 9080 was very small and impossible to organize clothing and shoes. Food: the food in the buffet was ...

This was the first time we sailed on the MSC line. We were pleasantly surprised as we had heard many negative reviews from Americans but the ship and this journey exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was what we were looking for and stops we had not been to before including Malta, Greece and Genoa . The ports were great each one had its own beauty and history. The only port that was a ...

We are a couple in our early 60s and experienced cruisers. We chose this cruise based on ports of call and price. This was our 4 th cruise on Msc. We did not realize then there are some distinct differences when sailing in Europe. There was no tap water, iced tea or coffee offered in the dining room. You can purchase wine or mineral water. The stateroom we chose included free mineral water and ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the exceptionally good pricing. We arrived in Venice 2 days prior to cruise embarkation to find the city Flooded. Embarkation process on 2 November was disappointing. We were asked to produce our passports by 4 different MSC personnel but we are not sure what valued added each person contributed if anything. Later when we were allowed to go to ...

We cruised from Venice to Dubai via the Suez Canal for seventeen nights in an inside cabin, mid-ships, on a re-positioning cruise with MSC in November 2018. We have cruised before but this was our first experience of MSC. Facts The passengers were predominantly Italian, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese with a minority of British. There were two European and two US electrical ...

We chose this cruise after long cancer treatment .It looked a good deal with a great itinerary. Sadly this cruise proved to be a disappointment.Although we had a lovely cabin spacious and beautifully clean the rest was a let down. After cruising several times in the past we had high expectations .The food was boring and repetitive and not very large portions in the restaurant but the buffet ...
