I have in the past cruised on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, and Carnival. So I do have a good comparison of what should be expected. The boarding was smooth however everything else including the majority of crew members was disastrous. I did not at all get the feeling of vacation no welcoming experience at all. In fact, including the entertainment which was sub-par (In comparison) In all ...
This was our first cruise and had our hopes high with all my friends and family talking about their experiences in other cruises like Carnival or Royal Caribbean. Our first day started with unsatisfactory food options. The group we were traveling with had people who are vegetarian and few who do not eat pork or beef. The only option we had we had was roast chicken throughout the trip. Our seated ...
This was my very first Transatlantic cruise. I booked it early because the low price was too great to miss out on. Then I started reading the reviews coming out during summer and was worried I would have a bad experience. It seems the cruiseline was reading them also. Most of the staff on our sailing had only been working on the ship for 2 months or less, which means they fired all the old ...
I have been on 18 cruises, but never longer than 7 days. This was my 1st longer cruise and my 1st transatlantic cruise.
EMBARKATION: I arrived at the port in Barcelona with a fellow passenger who spoke Spanish. Somewhow, that got us priority boarding. We walked right up to counter, got our cruise cards and walked right onto the ship. I think were were onboard within 10 ...
This is our 2nd MSC Seascape cruise this year and again it did not disappoint!!
Embarkation and disembarkation were typical - went smoothly with some minor waits.
Balcony cabin design, size and amenities was perfect for a couple. Plenty of storage (bring a couple of extra hangers). Would recommend paying a little extra for a tub/shower combo cabin.
Service was friendly, efficient and ...
About us: married couple, closer to retirement age than just starting out.
This was our second MSC cruise; our first cruise we chose the Aurea Suite with hot tub and added the preferred drinks package: since the perks we wanted were in line with what is provided in Yacht Club, we decided to go up a level.
We chose this cruise to one really experience MSC and second for the days at sea. ...
This was the first time we went to a cruise with my family, the purpose was to enjoy a relaxing time in the sea and also know different touristic destinations. Sadly,it was far from satisfying. They ship was clearly overcrowded, and you could tell on that specially in the dinning hours, when you had to wait long times to get some food. Sometimes there was not even a space available on the table ...
MSC needs consultants – hire them and follow the advice!
Just off a B2B on Seascape both Eastern and Western Caribbean. Joined by son and family the second week.
Lovely ship although like the other MSC vessels has very dark panels and floors and rather gloomy interior halls. Decorating is good, other colors of grey, silver, chrome all make it clean and modern looking. The layout is ...
We chose this cruise because our family was cruising together and we looked for ships that offered experiences for three generations of people between the ages of 8 and 63.
Yacht Club - The level of service in the Yacht Club is good. Embarking and disembarking was a breeze. The butler was helpful and available. The headwaiter and sommelier were attentive. The quality and selection of the ...
we were on this cruise on a back to back. It relocated to Guadalope. I can't think of one thing that was not 100%. From our room steward to the dining staff. Our cabin was always clean and the ship has wonderful food. The shows are Broadway Class. I (we) have been on 68 carnival cruises and we sail on the Seacape on May 22th for 2 weeks. This will make our 6th MSC cruise and we will never go back ...
