This was my very first Transatlantic cruise. I booked it early because the low price was too great to miss out on. Then I started reading the reviews coming out during summer and was worried I would have a bad experience. It seems the cruiseline was reading them also. Most of the staff on our sailing had only been working on the ship for 2 months or less, which means they fired all the old ...
I have been on 18 cruises, but never longer than 7 days. This was my 1st longer cruise and my 1st transatlantic cruise.
EMBARKATION: I arrived at the port in Barcelona with a fellow passenger who spoke Spanish. Somewhow, that got us priority boarding. We walked right up to counter, got our cruise cards and walked right onto the ship. I think were were onboard within 10 ...
The MSC Divina is an older ship, but very well maintained and beautiful.
We decided to splurge on the Yacht Club on the MSC Divina. We are so glad we did. From the check in to debarkation we were treated like VIP's, but not in an uncomfortable way. Every crew member in the Yacht Club greeted us warmly each and every time we saw them and were always offering ways to make our cruise an enjoyable ...
I chose Divina for the classic nature of the ship and it’s original itinerary but that had to change because of the nature of covid-19 and that was completely understandable. The ship was absolutely beautiful, just as I was told it would be.
From the start MSC buffered us from the harsh realities of the outside world and encouraged us to stay informed but to relax and let them handle ...
MSC Divina was more than perfect! After reading reviews, I was hesitant, expecting a bad time and rude employees, as most of the reviews say. Embarking- NO long lines and NO trouble! We expecting to be waiting all day in lines and what not, but we arrived at our terminal at 11am for check in and was on the boat eating lunch by 11:30! We weren’t expecting to board until 2 or 3pm, I think that’s ...
This was our second MCS cruise and it didn’t disappoint! Great crew, food, shows and ports! I loved the SPA and got several massages. Also used the laundry service and it was excellent! Going on another MSC this month. The only news channel was CNN and we did not like this. Don’t understand why they would only have them. Many others also made comments about this. Really not enough time to ...
Review of the annual Holistic Cruise from Feb. 21 - 28th. No, I'm not Holistic, see last paragraph. My 1st MSC Cruise was the 11 night over New Years. We had so much fun (see that review) that we had to go again before the ship left the U.S. this March for a year. I have to be honest, I picked the Divina again because I've never in our previous 10 cruises seen any ship have the quality of ...
The ship is elegant. The cruise staff was very attentive. The food was good with plenty of variety & the shows were first class! We dined in the Black Crab main dining room. Service was freeway. Portions were sufficient & tasty. There was always something going on concerning activities whether in port or sea days. We had a balcony Fantastica class.
My only Complaint was the itinerary. Arrived ...
Recently went on a cruise from Miami Jan 28 and then Jan 31 on Divina(back to back)..
stayed in cabin 10035 on first leg and then 13203 on second leg.
Everything was perfect..(After this review MSC should make me a spokesperson)
We have dropped the other cruiselines and gone with MSC..this was our 6th MSC cruise..but lets talk this latest cruise.
It was just fantastic...the mix of ...
I originally chose this cruise due to the good pricing and the way the ship looked online. I have been on Norwegian, Carnival and Royal Caribbean and wanted to try something different. I am glad I did !!
Although I saw some negative reviews online, after reading them I realized most did not apply to me or my wants so I thought I would take a chance and try it out.
The ship was amazing, ...
