This was our 3rd cruise with MSC - we traveled on the Klove cruise in 2015, 2017, and this past January. This will be our last time with MSC - this past trip my husband and I traveled with my sister and her husband Here are my notes… Positive Boarding was much simpler Tarzon was very helpful at the customer service desk Negative Upon check in - sister & hubby were told ...

Now that I am waiting to disembark the ship after an 18 day sailing on the MSC Divina I will leave you with my own personal review of this ship. Take it as a grain of salt like you would anyone’s review. We all have our own personal likes, dislikes, standards and personalities. Learn, get an idea and just go and have a great time on your vacation. Ok onto my own thoughts. EMBARKATION - ...

MSC Could Almost be Great with a Little Effort -

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

Sailing MSC makes you realize how some other lines really get it right. And what it's like when done wrong. The itinerary decided this try, and my brother in law sailed this very ship March 2023 for a short jaunt to ensure it was a good choice. He had a great 5 day Caribbean cruise so we were excited to try MSC for the first time on a special Christmas cruise. SUMMARY: I hope your family ...

If you're looking for only mediocre, this is your cruise

My husband and I just returned from our first cruise with MSC and we traveled with 10 other people who, also, have never cruised with MSC. Usually, we return home with great things to say about the cruise lines we experience, but this one is much different. To start, before we ever left, we made several phone calls to inquire/clarify about general information ranging from vaccinations, curling ...

Mixed, Some Staff Were Helpful, Some Were Rude, Some Services Worked, and Then I Was Injured

Some of the staff was helpful some were rude. Unfortunately I had a bad fall in our cabin 1105 because the bathtub is porcelain with no adhesive. I still have bruised ribs and limited in my activity. It has been 4 weeks. I am in good shape I ski , yoga daily ride bikes and was NOT drinking when I got into the shower and my foot slipped out from under me. I ended up in the infirmary. The next day ...

First and last with MSC … from an avid traveller

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

Choose cruise to discover a variety of Central American ports, and for the affordability. Understaffed with exhausted and overworked employees who are willing to openly speak about the bad working conditions; apparently experienced staff were shipped to new MSC ships being launched. Short staff and full ship means you wait, wait, wait. Main buffet offers very basic repetitive options. Decided to ...

Awful ship, mediocre food.

Chose mostly for low price. But ship was really substandard from the start. No soap in bathroom dispenser , no washcloths, 2 towels for 3 people. We called twice in 2 hours, since we wanted to shower before going to dinner. Wound up eating in sweaty shorts since towels and soap kept not coming. No outlets by bed, so you can't charge your phone while reading yourself to sleep or answering emails. ...

We chose this cruise because it met a great price point and we wanted to stay overnight at their private island. The Food: The breakfast was great and that is all I can say good about the food! We definitely did not over eat on this trip!! The lunch and dinner buffet was odd choices and not very good other than the pizza and cheese bread. The dinner choices were not very good also. We ...

MSC = Most Substandard Cruise Line

This was our 2nd MSC cruise out of 60 cruises. We had such an unfavorable opinion of the 1st MSC cruise we went on a few years ago that I vowed we would never sail with them again. But, the price was so attractive that I wanted to give them an other shot and was hoping they had improved. They did not. We were seriously wanting to do their 30 day Cape Town to Venice next March 2023 but figured ...

Why I won't sail MSC again

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on MSC Divina

This was our 2nd MSC cruise. We were on Seaside in November 2019 in the Yacht Club and received future cruise credit when MSC canceled 2 ports without telling anyone prior to embarkation. The FCC and a great sale (Balcony for the price of an Inside) along with a great itinerary made this cruise attractive. A couple of months before sailing I was checking if excursions were up (they didn't get ...
