First and Last MSC Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Divina

This cruise was chosen because of the itinerary-Bahamas, Jamaica, Aruba, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Mexico. The price was decent, until all the add ons started showing up. Using an Expedia travel agent, the group of (9) travellers booked this cruise in May 2022. Filled with anticipation like a kid waiting for Christmas to come, we looked forward to the cruise. As the embarkation date ...

Great but could be better

We selected this cruise for the ports of call. This was a 14 day cruise with what they call a back-to-back because it stops back in Miami after 11 days then 3 more days in Bahamas. Of course with everything that was going on all of those ports of call were canceled with the exception of Bahamas. We went to Honduras, Belize, Costa Maya & Cozumel instead of Jamaica, Aruba, Columbia, Costa Rica & ...

Third time cruising on the Divina

We chose this ship divina because we sailed twice before on it and we loved it. Also this ship had the best itineraries for a longer cruise (11 nights) that we were interested in. There has been changes made since our first cruise 4 years ago to now. The main change is the food in the dining rooms. It has gone downhill in taste and quality. Also you have to fight for a table for two as ,Msc ...

Enjoyable time

The cruise was a great deal. Nightly entertainment was excellent. Especially enjoyed the opera singers. Food was a bit of a disappointment. Service at restaurant dinners (other than specialty restaurant) were very slow, food was often cold or barely warm when served. Butcher's Cut was excellent! Little disappointed in drink package. Too often not enough chairs were available on the decks. ...

Better Than Expected

I was a little apprehensive before embarking on this cruise due to the numerous negative reviews posted in January. However, none of my fears materialized. One review stated that they waited 2 hours for their food to arrive at dinner. I am not sure what happened with them, but we were attended to quickly, the food arrived within a nice span of time, and the serving staff was friendly and ...

A Rough Start, But MSC Came Through. Ocean Cay Is Great!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

This was cruise #4 for my wife (27) and I (29). First two were Royal Caribbean. We were on the MSC Seaside in November 2019 and had a great experience. The ship was beautiful, food was great, etc. However, we were supposed to be some of the first people to go to MSC Ocean Cay on that November cruise on MSC Seaside, but the island was deemed not ready. We were given future cruise credit to ...

DIVINA STAFF TREAT LIKE FAMILY

Dining- Bravo! Compliments go to the Entire Black Crab serving staff. A special thank you to Agus and Vivek. They made us feel like family during the entire cruise! They would be the reason that we would come back and do another cruise on the Divina ship. Most of the time the food at the Black Crab was above average but there were some items that were less than desirable. One being the clam ...

A very good cruise with a few minor problems

We chose this cruise because of itinerary and because we had sailed on MSC twice before. Because my wife is in a wheelchair, we had a balcony cabin 12151 which was spacious and even had a ramp out onto the balcony. Our only criticism is that unlike a couple of other ships we have sailed on recently, the door was not electrically operated so my wife could not open and close it ...

New Years Panama Canal Cruise - Loved It

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

We chose this cruise last minute because 1) it was a New Years cruise and 2) It had a bucket list itinerary at an affordable price for a 12 day cruise. We sailed to Ocho Rios Jamaica, Cartagena Colombia, Colon, Panama, Puerto Limon Costa Rica, Costa Maya Mexico, and the new Ocean Cay Marine Reserve( MSC's private island). If you do your research for booking your excursions with the ship, you ...

Caribbean Cruise with an Italian Flair

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

User Avatar

We have been on eight previous cruises (Holland, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, Celebrity) and chose this MSC cruise because the islands visited were mostly new to us and it appeared to be an excellent value. This is an Italian ship and there were some minor cultural/experience differences from other cruises we have been on. This is no different than when you visit another country and is ...
