Great service
"We had the same person cleaning our room each day and it was just fun to see him wandering through the hallway and greeting him every time. There is nothing bad to say about his service and it was just delightful and an utter joy to dine at this restaurant and be spoiled by him and the other waiters...."Read More

Surprisingly good after reading reviews

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

The reviews had me very nervous about MSC Divina, but the naysayers were wrong. We had a very good experience on this ship and found the staff, food, and overall experience to be way above what others have said. First, the most common complaints are about things beyond MSC’s control. The cruise line can’t control the rudeness of guests, nor can they control the way the Greek government runs ...

We joined 400 dancers on the cruise for Dance Academy Tour. It was our first cruise, and I must say that the service was exquisite. We lost our cruise card multiple times, yet we could ask for a new one at the desk at any moment in time. Our room was cleaned twice a day, everything worked perfectly and the staff was polite all the time. We had the same person cleaning our room each day and it ...

Great First Yacht Club Experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

We chose this 3 day sailing as an introduction to the Yacht Club. We were markedly impressed with the service. The room was great and the food in the Le Muse restaurant was great. The servers remembered our drink preferences which was awesome. Our Butler and Assistant Butler were awesome. We will definitely be back to the Yacht Club. Areas that MSC could improve on would be some of the ...

We flew to Genoa from Miami, spent the night at the Holiday Inn and taxied to the port in the morning. Embarkation was a breeze. We sailed the Divina 6 times before so we Knew what to expect. Different Captain and different Hotel Director this time. She is a beautiful Italian design ship. Love the crystal staircase. We had a balcony starboard forward cabin and a great steward (Alphonso). The ...

Bit of background. Used to cruise quite a bit pre-kids but this is our 1st in 10 years and our first taking the children. The cruise was very well priced considering it was the half term holidays in the UK. Hesitant after reading the reviews of the ship so maybe that lessened my expectations but everything was very good. Embarkation - Bit confusing. On previous cruises, we got our cruise ...

We cruised with MSC for the first time but we are experienced cruisers (have more than 35 cruises with diffirent companies such as Princess, Oceania, Holland America, Celebrity, Costa, Viking, Amawaterways, Uniworld....).....The embarkation and disembarkation processes were very efficient and easy.... we were in in 15 minutes and out in 5 minutes.... The ship is very beautiful..the space in the ...

Very enjoyable 1st cruise experience

I made the mistake of checking the reviews a few days before we departed. They were not good, and as this was our 1st cruise i did wonder what we had let ourselves in for. I want to write this review to put a different view on all the negative comments. Plus points 1. Extremely efficient embarking and disembarcation process. Very smooth. Be aware that you may have to wait a few hours before ...

This was our 4th cruise in Yacht Club. Although it still is a good experience we felt that it was not that good as before. The embarkation in Civitavecchia went smoothly as always. We were in the terminal already before 10 and had to wait until 10.30 that they opened the “lounge”. This is quite understandable. We were among the first to embark the ship but our luggage came first after 4 pm. The ...

We choose this cruise based on 1. Itinerary, 2. date, 3. expense. Meet all our requirements. Compare with other cruise line such as Royal Caribbean, Princess or Carnival, the food choices with MSC is limited, but with the money you saved, you can eat whatever you are missing on the shore and even better. The cabin is spacious and clean, there is always dancing class going on, the gym is one ...

Enjoyable but some maintenance issues

We were visiting from Illinois and chose this cruise because it fit our schedule and the price seemed reasonable. We did spend additional money on entertainment and drinks, but in the end it was still a good value, especially with kids. Weather was great! Pluses: Nice looking ship with a variety of live entertainment, shops, bars, and activities. Great itinerary with interesting ports. Wide ...
