Try Another Cruise Line

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

Wow! We spent a fortune sailing in the Yacht Club. Expected it to be like Norwegian Haven or Celebrity Retreat. The service was excellent in the YC but the entertainment and staff outside of Yacht Club is horrible. I honestly think they dislike Americans (but love our $$). Worst entertainment of any cruise line I have traveled and we have been on over 40 cruises. Boring Sea days-no ...

The cruise from hell

We booked this cruise because it was going to stop a few places we hadn't been before on our way to europe. we booked a superior balcony cabin so my husband could sit and watch the ocean. Right off the bat, we were unhappy beause the balcony had a bunker-like appearance with the metal coming up to where a railing should be. in other words, you had to stand up to see out. after 2 hours in ...

Low Quality Cruise

Chose this cruise because if the ports of call. We were promised a unobstructed balcony view, we did not get that, they did not change our room, even though the ship was not full. The staff continually lie to you, they are rude and arrogant. The food was mediocre, at best. The fact that all of the meat we ate throughout our cruise was tough and dry. Nothing was prepared fresh, even the eggs were ...

18 days of HELL

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Divina

Most cruises are so much fun, we always ask where did the time go? before you know it the cruise is over, so we thought this would be the perfect way to enjoy a lengthy 18 day cruise, only this cruise we were counting the days for it to end! We knew having to wear a mask the entire time indoors would be a trade off for 1/3 capacity during our sailing, but it wasn’t long when we started noticing ...

Misleaded, lied to and major room issues

We have taken 6 cruises with 3 different cruise lines, This was our least favourite for multiple reasons MSC and our travel agent failed to inform us that there would be 2000 vegan cruisers on this cruise and they would be taking 100% of the early dining. All other passengers were restricted to 8:30 p.m. dining. ( really who eats a meal at 8:30 p.m.? !!!! ) All of our documentation ...

We have been cruising for the last 12 years, in Europe, the Caribbean, many times. We chose MSC to check on a different cruise line.We went on the 3 nights to the Bahamas, and it was a birthday gift from my husband. It began all wrong, 2 hours to check in, I have never seen a line so long in a cruise to check in, it was terrible. It looks like they don't have enough personnel. The ship is ...

We selected this cruise for the dates, price and ports of call. The on board was painful - delays, long lines, disorganized Once on ship, cabin was ready and food was being served so all good on that front . Paid for wi fi but failed to explain to turn on and off (what technology is this?) - so depleted allowance within 48 hours - front desk unwilling to make any adjustments so I ended ...

Very Disappointed

Our embarkment was horrible. I felt like cattle being herded in to a pasture. No orginization. When we got on the ship we went to the buffet. I was almost knocked down by 3 employees and they didn't care they just looked at you like they didn't want you on the ship. We got our meal and I asked two gentlemen who were at a table next to us and asked if they could wipe off the table. One of them ...

How many different ways can I say, 'never again'?

I think I really, truly realized that MSC was not for me when I was lying, practically naked, under a towel at the spa trying to enjoy my Aurea experience massage while my masseuse pressure-sold me into booking another massage. Of course, there had been many whomp-whomps up to that point - but nothing says 'we don't give two craps about you' like encouraging your staff to throw you a sales pitch ...
