Everything was amazing. Food, entertainment, ports, weather, pools, gym, staff etc. We left our hotel room at 12 and had our first drink by the pool on the ship by 12:45. I have only one complaint which resulted in 4 vs 5 stars. The room was an attached room and we could hear everything from the next room. Is was as if we had no door at all between us. Therefor they could hear us as well. They were not loud party people thankfully. It could have been worse. Would not recommend these rooms. However, the room itself was great. I have done several cruises and this ship was the nicest looking by far. It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a loud party atmosphere, choose Carnival, quiet choose an older princess ship. This one was in the middle of those two. I would cruise with them again and looks like I may do that soon. Great price and value Read Less

After 60+ cruises on all major cruise lines including several with MSC, we found the Divina to be one of the best overall cruises we have ever been on. I believe the length of the cruise contributes greatly to the quality of all aspects of the cruise from dining menu to entertainment to attentiveness of the crew. Ports of call will not be discussed as they vary greatly and are not indicative of the quality of the ship.We found the entire cruise experience from embarkation (MSC Club members get priority boarding), to debarkation (very well organized) to be of high quality and above our expectations. Cabin - we had a veranda cabin on deck 10. The cabin was always clean and the room steward, although not often seen) was attentive to our needs and provided almost immediate room cleaning each time we left the cabin. The use of the key card to control the electricity and notify the cabin steward of your presence or absence in the room facilitated the ease of cleaning. Dining - We availed ourselves of all the dining options except buffet dinner and specialty restaurants and found the variety and quality of food to be excellent. We especially enjoyed our late seating in the Villa Rosa dining room. Although many cruisers prefer to eat and run, taking 2 hours to enjoy a 6 course meal was most enjoyable to us. If you want to eat fast why get dressed for dinner, just go to the buffet. Entertainment - We were extremely pleased with the quality, variety and amount of entertainment aboard the Divina. The nightly productions in the theater (scheduled and 7pm for late sitting and 9pm for early sitting) were excellent. Offering 5-6 different lounges with live entertainment each evening made the Divina a happening ship and most passengers were out and about till late in the evening. The new cruise director (Andre Schlemmer) did a good job of organizing events on board without being obtrusive or feeling the need for a plethora of announcements. Food - We found the quality and variety of the food both on the buffet and in the restaurants suitable for cruisers of all ages and nationalities. As MSC in an Italian cruise line pasta was not only on each dining menu, but was offered as a separate course at dinner (made fresh while you wait). Our one irritation in relation to food service was the arrangement and design of the buffet area. TV and Internet - MSC needs to update its news feeds in cabin televisions and provide more variety, but who goes on a cruise to watch TV. The Divina offers intra ship communications via your tablet or iphone at no charge which is great for families or groups. As you can see from this review we were very satisfied with our 11 night cruise on the Divina and we would definitely sail on her again (although not for a shorter duration cruise as 10 days are now our minimum).   Read Less
