MSC DIVINA: a Horrible Cruise Line
"This is the first time and last time sailing with MSC Cruise Line. This is the first day of my cruise and I wish I had never booked with MSC. I had filled out important information before the cruise for having..."Read More

Don’t Cruise on MSC. I cruised on the Divina MSC. First and last cruise with MSC. 10 reasons why: 1. Most food was cold to barely warm in the buffet. The exception was breakfast, but scramble eggs were almost always cold. Very few items were warm. Almost nothing was hot except pizza. 2. The dinner buffet included 3 or 4 types of pasta, always cold. 3. The desserts on the buffet were 1” ...

We have taken 6 cruises with 3 different cruise lines, This was our least favourite for multiple reasons MSC and our travel agent failed to inform us that there would be 2000 vegan cruisers on this cruise and they would be taking 100% of the early dining. All other passengers were restricted to 8:30 p.m. dining. ( really who eats a meal at 8:30 p.m.? !!!! ) All of our documentation ...

We chose this cruise because of the places it visited in the western med and we heard it was suitable for kids. It was not...! Things got off to a bad start when we boarded. Staff were fighting among themselves to get their commission on drinks package sales. We went up to the kids club and found out it couldn’t be used for several hours until safety drills and completing a 3 page waiver per ...

We have been cruising for the last 12 years, in Europe, the Caribbean, many times. We chose MSC to check on a different cruise line.We went on the 3 nights to the Bahamas, and it was a birthday gift from my husband. It began all wrong, 2 hours to check in, I have never seen a line so long in a cruise to check in, it was terrible. It looks like they don't have enough personnel. The ship is ...

Our embarkment was horrible. I felt like cattle being herded in to a pasture. No orginization. When we got on the ship we went to the buffet. I was almost knocked down by 3 employees and they didn't care they just looked at you like they didn't want you on the ship. We got our meal and I asked two gentlemen who were at a table next to us and asked if they could wipe off the table. One of them ...

We selected this cruise for the dates, price and ports of call. The on board was painful - delays, long lines, disorganized Once on ship, cabin was ready and food was being served so all good on that front . Paid for wi fi but failed to explain to turn on and off (what technology is this?) - so depleted allowance within 48 hours - front desk unwilling to make any adjustments so I ended ...

So bad it was laughable. Trust the reviews. We didn't and regret it.

There is a reason their cruises are so cheap. Cruised on the Divina in January. Rate for a 5 night balcony cabin was $159 per person. Read the reviews and thought"come on...it can't be that bad". It was. Upon arrival at Port of Miami it took 2 hours and 40 minutes standing in line to get on the ship. Once we arrived in our cabin we were given 15 minutes until the muster drill. We never ...

I think I really, truly realized that MSC was not for me when I was lying, practically naked, under a towel at the spa trying to enjoy my Aurea experience massage while my masseuse pressure-sold me into booking another massage. Of course, there had been many whomp-whomps up to that point - but nothing says 'we don't give two craps about you' like encouraging your staff to throw you a sales pitch ...

I am a veteran of 25 cruises now and wanted to expand my horizons and explore a different cruise line so, I tried MSC based on photos of the ship. BIG mistake. I should have read the reviews first! Embarkation was a disaster with nobody seeming to know what was going on. This ship appears beautiful however, like the screen actress godmother of the ship, Sophia Loren, she is an aging beauty ...
