MSC cheapens down a beautiful ship.
"Im a long time experienced cruiser both in the Caribbean and Europe but I am making this rating based on comparative Caribbean cruise lines. This is my first MSC cruise and frankly I choose it because the price was..."Read More

We chose this cruise for 2 reasons. First we had sailed on the Divina a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Secondly it was the right timing for our schedules (2 couples). We arrived at the cruise port for our embarkation time but had to wait 1 hour and even then our cabin was not ready. The cabin was not what we thought we were getting. It was quite small and there wasn’t a sofa (as depicted ...

We booked with Holistic Holidays at Sea for their annual vegan cruise. We were keen to see the speakers they were featuring. One of them we were looking forward to just didn't show up yet a substitute was provided. Regardless, we were disappointed that Chef AJ didn't make it. The embarkation was a nightmare. At least an hour long wait in line to get thru the security scanners. Some of ...

My wife and I have traveled throughout Europe, South America and the Caribbean and have experienced some of the finest cruises available throughout the world. The cruise we just completed was a tremendous disappointment. Here are our thoughts: * The ship itself was absolutely beautiful. Very nicely furnished, spacious room (we had a cabin with a balcony). But the flow was a nightmare. Like most ...

We take cruises quite often, but this was a really disappointing trip. From just getting to the cruise ship we were sent to the wrong terminal as MSC didn't update the terminal on our tickets. We had to walk three terminals over with all of our luggage, then proceeded to wait in an hour long line just to go through one metal detector. Boarding the ship you are hearded with a huge crowd onto the ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. It was the first time cruising with MSC. Embarkation was excellent. We were on the ship in about 1/2 an hour. We paid extra for the Fantastica experience. This allowed us a higher level cabin, wifi ( limited but it was perfect for us), and unlimited beverages costing $6 or less. The beverage package was just fantastic and saved up tons of ...

This was our fourth time on Divina, and our sixth MSC cruise (we have cruised twice on Seaside). On all six cruises, we have been Diamond members (formerly Black Card) with the Fantastica Experience. We have always requested a table for two, and have had it confirmed (not "on request") on all five previous MSC cruises. This time, I called MSC twice to be sure we had a confirmed table for two, ...

My partner and I spent 20 nights on the south bound transatlantic crossing which sailed from Genoa on 5-11-2019. We (41 and 42) were accompanied by 1 set of parents (64 and 65) and 1 couple who are friends our age. I researched thoroughly before choosing this cruise. Our primary reason to select this journey on MSC Divina was the brilliant itinerary. I read the reviews and noted the negative and ...

I sailed on the MSC Divina in early January for Jam Cruise. I was NOT impressed. When I first got to my cabin - 9218 - the room was gross. There were toenail clippings on the carpet, sand all over the couch and barely an eighth of a roll of toilet paper! I felt really gross. I had to call guest service 3 times (!) to get more toilet paper. And apparently the ship no longer gives each cabin a ...

This is the second time I have cruised on MSC Divina during New Years holiday. The first cruise in 2018 / 2019 was nice I’m not sure what happened this year because it has really gone down. Services suck, I hate to be blunt but there’s not much more I can say about it. They usually have one main waiter and an assistant but they only had one waiter waiting on four tables So dinner took hours ...
