It was our first time on MSC. Being that the ship was only half full of passengers and the hole corona virus outbreak made for an uneasy cruise.

Good price. Six days five night cruise was $179. . Embarkation was average. It takes a bit of time for 2500 people to board a ship so that was not remarkable either way. To start I need to tell you that the ship was at best at half occupancy. I am sure this had a huge impact on wait times, table availabity in the buffet area and deck chair availablity. The occupancy was heavily affected by the coronavirus.

Embarkation took longer than other cruise lines. Less than 2/3 of the check-in booths were open. Because of the coronavirus a medical report had to be filled out by each passenger on site and the crew member passing those out was rude and impatient.

This was our second cruise on the Divina. We sailed the Divina when it first launched. That cruise was in the Yacht Club. This trip was more spur of the moment, and we grabbed a balcony stateroom a few weeks from departure. There is a big big difference between the Yacht Club and the rest of the ship.
