Good food, weird entertainment
"Entertainment: production shows were very strange; singers and dancers very professional, hit every note and every step, incorporated acrobats, trapeze artist, jugglers into the show, but, song choices, costumes choices, incorporation of performance artists, made absolutely no sense, and was a little jarring to the senses.Cabin: Interior cabin, no problems, what you would expect...."Read More

Still one of my favorite ships!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

This was my 3rd time on Divina, all solo cruises. It's a good size: not too big, not too small, and you can always find a quiet spot to yourself or a lounge chair somewhere. I chose this one yet again because they were advertising a GREAT sale for solo cruisers! ** Thank you MSC!!! ** - And actually I did the 4-night starting on April 10, 2023 (Nassau and Ocean Cay) plus this 7-night back to ...

MSC Divina: Food: buffet and MDR food were on par with other cruise lines, pizza was amazing! all other past reviews of bad food I did not find. good selection on the buffet, MDR food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Cabin: Interior cabin, no problems, what you would expect. Entertainment: production shows were very strange; singers and dancers very professional, hit every note and ...

We have friends who love to take Cruises. They suggested that we try MSC as they are new to the U.S. and had some pretty competitive deals. We were excited to try them out as our first experience!!!.. Overall it was a great experience. The Ship was clean from top to bottom. Plenty of bars for service, a solid buffet, and the drink package is well worth it !! I would say stay away from the main ...

Bad food and boredom.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

Chose this cruise because had heard that their private island is nice, supposed to have 2 days there and they dock rather than tender making it easy to get on and off. Ian made sure we never saw it. Never got to a beach at all! Some crew members tried to help, but it felt more like a floating prison than a cruise vacation. Instead of days on an idyllic island, we had a week on board a ship ...

The pros and cons of the MSC Divina

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

PROS: The MSC Divina is a nice clean well maintained ship. The private island (Ocean Cay) was fabulous! Ocean Cay was beautiful, clean, safe, well maintained and included a great buffet lunch. Great female cruise director (Keri) and staff always had fun activities going on all over the ship. Great entertainment each night in the theater. We especially enjoyed the magic show, comedy ...

This review is for the MSC Divinia 4 day cruise to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. This was our first cruise on MSC, however we have done multiple cruises on 4 other cruise lines for comparison. First the pros: The ship is beautiful with an upscale finishes and well maintained. The service on board is second to none. There were 4-5 music venues every night so it never seemed crowded ...

COVID and poor entertainment

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

We assumed that everyone was vaccinated and had been tested prior to sailing. Boy were we wrong. As soon as we departed my husband, a cancer patient, was in the ER with COVID. We experienced several people on the ship coughing. Guess these folks did not get a true test or lied about being tested. The entertainment on the ship was very poor. We thought it was going to be like our last MSC ...

The food was delicious and the service was the best I have ever had on a cruise. All the workers took great care of us. Our cabin steward John kept our room clean and brought me distilled water for my CPAP machine. The wait staff at the pool was the best. Ray, Jane, Justyn, Linnie, Mayur, and Michael made sure we always had cold drinks. The excellent service continued in the dining room as well. ...

Many many misses…a few hits

Saw this cruise advertised for a pretty cheap Nassau and Ocean Cay 4 night trip. All in all with excursions, drink package and room upgrade we were in for about $1400. Right off the bat not the best deal looking back on it. The issues started with joining Voyager Club…to this day and after multiple calls, emails and speaking to the ship my Voyager Club is still not active, they keep sending ...
