We chose this cruise as it sailed from Havana and we disembarked in our home province of Alicante so we got to see Havana and the Caribbean with no jet lag!
The cabin (inside fantastica) was spacious and airy due to the clever use of mirrors. Plenty of wardrobe space and room to move around.
The entertainment team were great. Not to everyone’s taste I get that but the ship was big enough to ...
We decided on this cruise as a sudden addition to our bucket list - Havana (Cuba), St Marteen, Antigua, Madera - all in one sweep.
Getting through Havana airport was an exceptional experience and one not to be glamorised in any way. We arrived at the ship quite late went through the obligatory photograph, not much in the way of a welcome, collected our cards then straight to our cabin and ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Cuba and accepted that the MSC Armonia was not going to offer all the facilities of some of the other cruise lines mega ships, but the price we paid reflected this and we also had 2 complimentary Cuba excursions included in the price.
Embarkation at Miami was swift though do ignore the stated check in time, ours was 4.15pm but from reading ...
We just disembarked from this cruise and we feel SCAMMED.
Be ready for subpar service, a rundown ship, a truly awful excursion selection (and team) and a terrible schedule.
Communication is at a minimum on the MSC Armonia - we ended up being booked on a WeightWatchers cruise. Be careful booking with MSC, the WW participants were kind - but imagine if they book a less hospitable cruise ...
We chose this voyage because of the overnight in Havana with the long days in port.
The we arrived late and left early abbreviating our time in Havana. Fortunately we had a private tour on the second day so we could adjust our times.
Embarkation in Miami was a snap! We arrived at 2pm and were onboard at 2:45.
Know in advance that English is possibly the 4th language over the speaker ...
We chose this cruise because it went to Cuba, having previously cruised only once with MSC on the Monterey in 2006. That ship sadly now no longer with us.
The Armonia is a great ship with a smaller number of passengers, 2,400. We prefer the smaller ships so this suited us.The cabin, balcony, was slightly smaller than ships we have sailed with on Carnival.
Our first impressions on boarding ...
A friend and I chose this cruise mainly for its price, timing and stop in Havana. We had each taken one cruise before on big U.S. ships but were not particularly impressed. Some of the reviews of the Armonia had us questioning our decision but the lure of Havana was strong. All in all it was a fine trip and one we would sign up for again.
We arrived in Miami the night before and had a ...
We sailed the Divina and found everything fantastic so we sailed the Armonia and found it the same. The food is superior, the entertainment is very good and the overall experience of MSC is wonderful. We have booked the Meraviglia from NYC on October 28th and expect to have a great cruise, even though we have seen all ports before, we did it for the wonderful MSC experience.
We like the ...
A group of 26 ladies from our hometown sailed on the Armonia for 7 days. Port stop of Cuba, price, and recommendation from one of the cruisers brought us to the Armonia.
The ship was clean and the service in the restaurants and bar was excellent. The crew truly seemed happy to be there and wanted us to be happy. In terms of service, I would compare it to Azamara. We were able to go between ...
Review - Cabin 9004, MS Opera
I approached this cruise with some trepidation, I’d read dozens of negative - some scathing - reviews of the MS Opera here on Cruise Critic.
I figured that there were more than fifty negative reviews for a ship that carries over two thousand passengers a week, I’d brazen it out.
I was pleasantly surprised.
My cabin steward was cheerful and friendly, ...
