I am writing this review on the 2nd day on the MSC Seashore I couldn't wait to get this review out so hopefully it will help someone in the future. First I wanna say everyone in the staff has been nice and no issues there. So this review is not for any retaliation or out of anger. It is just a honest opinion so here goes. The boat is beautiful but the layout is a disaster. Nothing is streamlined ...
This was a traumatically bad cruise experience for both my spouse and me. This cruise experience, our ninth with other cruise lines, represented our risky attempt to broaden the selection of cruise lines. Boy, did we risk too much. Epic food poisoning while onboard dining, unusable game/fun room experiences with glitchy electronics and no helpful staff, officious administrators at the help desk ...
I chose this trip because of the dates and the Port. My daughter and I were hoping for a wonderful short cruise on a beautiful ship and only got the beautiful ship. I will complement the ship and the numerous bars and entertainment venues. Outside of the that everything else was terrible. It started with a delay because of a crazy storm that came through which was not their fault. We arrive at ...
Pros:
The pizza was very good.
The indoor pool was a plus on Deck 16, since the weather was a bit chilly.
The gym was nice! And having a punching bag was a bonus!
Cons:
The satellite parking location for the shuttle was more like a junk yard than a parking lot. We waited for several hours in a poorly lit car port before being picked up by a shuttle. The hours felt like an eternity ...
The embarkation was horrible . They were late arriving with long lines outside . Boarding of ship with my grand kids did not happen till 11 pm. They did not even any apologies, and to make matters worse they thought arriving two hours late was a good thing! A half Day at Ocean Cay was suppose to be a highlight which was cut short. I think an hour of free ice Cream and a line a mile long like ...
I went on the 18 day cruise out of Miami on the Divina starting on 12/17/24. This cruise was my birthday (12/16) present to myself that went terribly wrong.
After standing in line for around 6 hours, I get to my room at 9:37 pm. On the ship, dinner was only available at the buffet and there were so many people, food was coming out under cooked like the hot dogs.
At 12:00 am on 12/18 my room ...
Yacht Club, Balcony cabin. Check in was horrific. Lines forever. Even with YC we had to wait 3 hours to board. NO drinks, snacks or extra service for at least 2 hours of the wait time. Finally when we were moved to a larger area we had water and the norm for YC. There were physical fights in waiting area as there was no direction from staff as to where the "general Pop" was to wait. So YC ...
I am not a person to complain or write reviews. However, MSC seascape is terrible. I have sailed on many different cruiselines and I must say the food on this ship is the worst of them all. Options on the menu were not available as they would say they run out most days and if you are not at the buffet by a certain time, you might not get an item that was available earlier in the day. The ...
This is the most horrible vacation experience, I have nothing good to say, the customer service is terrible since you call before boarding, they are not well informed, much less informed well, charges that are not explained to you such as the charge for each person for service, schedule an excursion with a week in advance and the day Before, they notified me that I cannot do it after making the ...
I've been on over 50 cruises, but this was our 1st and last with MSC. I wasn't sure if anyone was even "in-charge" aboard this vessel? The food was absolutely atrocious and not even edible, as we both lost weight on this voyage. Chaos around the entire ship. It's like "no one" had a clue as to what they were doing. The nightly shows were almost the same each evening, but with different props ...
