MSC is different, but that's not a bad thing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

The wife and I took our 10th anniversary cruise (and first cruise ever) on the MSC Divina. We were originally going to try Virgin, as the kiddos were staying home with the grands for this one, but by the time we booked Scarlet Lady was full. MSC caught our attention from YouTube and online research. The price point was hard to beat and we weren't looking for a megaship for our first time out so ...

My husband, daughter, and ten-year-old granddaughter and I just disembarked from the March 3 sailing of the MSC Seashore. We are experienced cruises (25+) with about 8 MSC cruises. Embarkation: We arrived a bit too early and had to wait outside the terminal (my fault.) Once in the terminal, the procedure went quickly. I wish MSC would require credit card authorization at this point rather than ...

Very Nice Cruise With Only a Few Shortcomings

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seashore

This cruise was a last-minute booking for us. We literally booked it a week and a half before the cruise. As such, our cabin choices were limited but we chose a SL1 Aurea Premium suite on the aft of the ship. More on this later. Embarkation was typical. Since we had booked so late, we received a 3:00 boarding time, which was cutting it too close for me since they close the check in at 4. ...

Lovely time aboard the Seashore to ring in the New Year!

We sailed 7 nights on the Seashore from 12/29 to 1/5 in a Fantastica balcony cabin on deck 14. Our cabin was right next to the ones that bend inward toward the back, so we had an awesome side view of the entire back of the ship and (when sailing) wake. Boarding in Port Canaveral was pretty easy (at least in comparison to Miami). We parked at the terminal. We checked in our suitcases and made ...

Good time with a few issues

We chose MSC Seashore for a family cruise over the Christmas Holiday. Our main criteria for choosing this ship was the availability of a two bedroom suite with nearby balcony cabin (we were traveling with an infant and six year old with grandma coming along), kids club/activities, and affordability. We read all the reviews we could find on both MSC in general and Seashore specifically - and ...

Enjoyable Cruise

This isn't our first MSC cruise... In the past we sailed on at least 4 other MSC Caribbean cruises and one MSC Mediterranean cruise. We selected this cruise as a getaway before the holidays. The price compared to other cruise lines was about half and it was leaving out of Port Canaveral which is convenient for us. We were a little concerned about the food service because on the Mediterranean ...

Overall a Good Time in the Yacht Club

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Seashore

By way of background, my husband (39), my son (8), and I (42) decided to do a short MSC yacht club trip to check out the line. We've done 2 NCL Haven cruises this year and had seen a lot of comparison online. (We're currently scheduled for the Celebrity Apex retreat in March and the NCL Encore in June of next year.) Granted MSC's much lower price (and very mixed reviews), we decided to do a ...

We had cruised the Divina and Meraviglia so weren't really expecting much but the price was right. We paid for our parking at he terminal as we entered to park. We had heard that you use to pay at the end of the cruise and the back up was awful so they fixed the problem. When we got off the ship we walked to our car and drove out of the parking garage. When we arrived we were "car to bar" in 20 ...

You get what you pay for, and that is perfectly ok!

We booked this cruise to try out MSC after being very let down by NCL on 2 consecutive cruises and unwilling to pay double for an equivalent Royal cruise. We researched MSC and knew what we were getting in to. Understand that you get what you pay for and have clear expectations and this cruise is 110% worth it. My wife and I have cruised on all the major US lines, and it will be a long time ...

I dont think it was as bad as a lot of the reviews say but MSC do have some work to do. I know and understand that every cruise is what you make of it. The food quality does need to improve. The elevator system defiantly needs to change for faster service. I do believe that once MSC get on track it will be an awesome cruise line to go on. MSC should definitely look into hiring more staff to ...
