Arrived on ship and room not ready had to wait. Cases did not arrive at our room till after 8pm No face clothes till we had been on board for 2 days No note paper just envelopes On first dining but the meal was almost thrown at us, plates removed from table as you pushed down the last mouthful so they could get ready for the 2nd sitting. None of the food was ever hot either in the ...

Our 7-day cruise sailed from Venice-Bari-Katakolon-Santorini-Piraeus-Corfu-Kotor. This was my second time on a cruise, been on the Carnival Sensation 3yrs ago. The journey was so smooth within the 7 days, I usually am sensitive and suffers with motion sickness, but thankfully I didnt have any of those in the MSC. Large enough ship, not too big, just the right size. Food: Overall, food was ...

A delightful cruise to some very lovely destinations

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Orchestra

First time on such a large ship (3200 Passengers) I have been on smaller ships. Unable to explore Venice because of timeline with arrivals and departures. The ship was excellent, cabins were good size and well equipped, only news channels available on the TV. Entertainment was good a different well performed show every night but unfortunately they were not long enough. Plenty of activities ...

MSC cruise fell short.

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Magnifica

This was my first cruise, I wanted to visit Athens, Istanbul and Dubrovnick. Unfortunately the recent bombings in Turkey caused MSC to drop Istanbul from the itenary. MSC emailed and pledged 100 Euro on to the cabin account as compensation. On the last day of the cruise this turned out to be 50 Euro per person, not what they pledged. Embarkation, disembarkation, was painfully slow, not ...

Good Buffet

Especially liked the destinations visited in Greece. Good service at the buffet and there was often food available. Pools and jacuzzis were often full of people and people tried to go swimming in the evening because then there was less people and more space. Pool cleaner had to watch children left to the pool because their parents were often not there even there was rule that they should stay ...

First time here and mostly I liked destinations. I think the food was fine there is large choice especially pasta and cakes. Water, tea, coffee included at the buffet. Juice included for breakfast. Workers were cleaning often the buffet and it must be a good thing. Good service at buffet. I could complain about the service at the reception some of the Italian women working there seemed arrogant to ...

Great Experience on the MSC Orchestra

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Orchestra

This was my first cruise ever and I was pleasantly surprised, especially after all the bad reviews of MSC (especially their food) which I had read! It took us two hours from arriving at port until walking on the ship so that was the worst part of the trip, though the free drinks helped to ease the long wait. The food was wonderful and especially impressive after all the worrying reviews I ...

Awful, never again on Orchestra.

Friend chose it as it was a cheap offer but I would never go on Orchestra again. On embarkation we had to wait for 2 1/2 hours to board ship. When we got on board our room hadn't been cleaned, that was our first complaint of many. The ship itself is nice and clean and beds comfy. The shower in room is very small. Our dining experience on our first day was awful. We had booked a first sitting in ...

Bad experience in an MSC Orchestra cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Orchestra

When boarding/checking-in we arrived to the ship on time, and had to wait for an hour outside in the rain before being able to board the ship. From that point it was still another two hours waiting in various lines until we received our cabin. When we arrived to the cabin it was open/unlocked, still being cleaned, and the key did not work. Regarding cleanliness the windows of the dining room ...

HORRIBLE

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Orchestra

Really horrible experience and will not advice anybody to choose this cruise. Food on 13th floor seems to be for cattles disgusting and no organisation at all. You will need to spend half an hour looking for a table. Although we went premium for drinks and upgraded room with balcony called Fantastica we did not receive the service promised. Internet extremely expensive which is fair enough as ...
