Very happy with personnel

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Sinfonia

We saw a cruise that included a return flight for an acceptable price. We wanted to visit family in Europe and celebrate an anniversary. (that was a complete misnomer!) We were cordially received by the staff on-board, but it is overwhelming to be accosted with hard sell on drinks vouchers etc. The cabins were not yet ready, but our cabin steward was a real delight Luciano from Madagascar. He ...

The ship itself is lovely ,the passengers mostly french and italian where very noisy and had no idea of a queue, i think for some not all is ,,, just get in front. The food in the restaurants is not bad at all, shame they charge for water, the the breakfasts in the buffet is pretty dismal, cold eggs, cold beans, very monotonous, and they seem to close the buffet around 4/5 clock only pizzas thats ...

Not as nice Poesia cruise

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Poesia

The reason for this cruise was because the first cruise we did on the MSC Sinfonia from Venice to Durban was excellent. We thought it will be similar on a longer cruise like the Poesia and booked it already on the Sinfonia. We have not visited the countries as per the proposed iternary, hence the reason to select this ship and route. We were very disappointed that the amount of English speaking ...

This sailing was a repositioning from South America to the Mediterranean. Embarkation in BA was well organised taking only one and half hours from arrival at the cruise terminal to reach our cabin. One case was already there and the other arrived a couple of hours later. Neither was damaged. Correct protocols were followed for the emergency drill and the exercise was more professional than ...

We joined friends on our first cruise experience. We didn't know what to expect but were given the 'heads-up' by our friends on what other cruise lines offer and how they operate. MSC disappointed in the customer service department on this cruise. There seemed to be a lack of employee training as we encountered conflicting answers to our questions. We did not receive our drink vouchers for our ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Seaside

My wife and I chose this cruise because it was part of a package that included four days in Austria, where my wife has dreamed of visiting all her life. The land tour was excellent. We were very much looking forward to boarding the Seaside and had been following the Captain's Facebook postings prior to sailing. His enthusiasm was contagious. But the ship was not ready for sailing. Our ...

This cruise was part of an itinerary which included the Austrian Christmas market with a culmination cruise across the Atlantic to Miami. Embarkation was in Trieste Italy and everything went smoothly. This is a very large ship which had a way of feeling actually smaller than it's size would dictate...no promenade deck. Our cabin was woefully short on storage, with barely enough space for our ...

I did a transatlantic last year with ncl . It was really good so thought I’d try msc as dates were good. The idea of being first in a cabin was enticing and all pictures looked good.......but what a mistake.this ship was not ready to sail. So many issues to list but the worst were poor sanitation. We had to change cabins as toilet did not flush but you’d find it hard to locate a public toilet that ...

Chose this cruise for the Ports of call, and the price. We have cruised with MSC before so to an extent we knew what to expect. However, the food was even more hit and miss than we have had before. Some of our fellow passengers behaved in an incredibly arrogant manner - and unfortunately, and when it occurred, it was tantamount to intimidation and bullying at times and I encountered this ...
