We usually do 3 cruises a year, but covid stopped that. Having cruise withdrawal we decided to try MSC. We were surprised with the status match program, accepting Elite status from Princess. The Divina was only about 25% full. The crew could not do enough to help. The announcements were only in English and smoking was restricted to only a few areas with fines for smoking in rooms and on balconies. ...

Food on the ship was horrible, breakfast at the buffet was always cold and the burger at lunch was cold and had a wet bun. Now the good great ship and the staff was always nice and helpful my cabin was clean and well taken care of. We've cruised on Disney, Carnival and NCL in the past, but when MSC offered a price that we couldn't refuse, we figured we'd give them a try...and we're glad we did. This was the Divina's first sailing from Port Canaveral, and first sailing since the pandemic. I'm glad to say that overall, MSC did a great job at preparing the ship and her crew for the return to sailing.

I chose this cruise as a getaway weekend.
At the time I didn’t realize it was the ship first cruise.
During checking their system crashed and there was a very long delay checking in. Over an hour and a half of the line not moving.

This is my second MSC Cruise and my first one not being in the Yacht Club. I received a time to arrive at the port of 13:00 and 2 days before the cruise it was changed to 14:00.
