This ship is beautiful and the shows were outstanding but cold food and lack of hygiene and sanitation made it undesirable. There are no hand sanitizers at all entries to the buffet. It was not until the ship became a cough fest did MSC stand a crew member to spray hands and this was only at the one entrance with sanitizers in place. The cruise started with a horrible embarkation. I never received the wheelchair that I had reserved for embarkation and spent over 2 hours standing in line which is very painful for me. It was horrible from the beginning. MSC was NOT prepared to deal with NY. They did not make the right arrangements with the longshoremen and the Stevedore unions and got it stuck up where the sun doesn’t shine. No excuse they need to prepare. 3 to 4 hour waits to check in. We chose this cruise because a friend wanted to try MSC. It was also going to be a birthday cruise for me. The disaster began on day one when the boarding process took over 4 hours!
