Horrible

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

We take cruises quite often, but this was a really disappointing trip. From just getting to the cruise ship we were sent to the wrong terminal as MSC didn't update the terminal on our tickets. We had to walk three terminals over with all of our luggage, then proceeded to wait in an hour long line just to go through one metal detector. Boarding the ship you are hearded with a huge crowd onto the ...

I chose this cruise for seeing the new ship , and the price was fabulous.i We sailed Fantastica in a great location balcony. First time for ordering room service..saving time , we had a "" Resort for a Day " booked for Jamaica. The breakfast arrived, but the the person who delivered it accidentally spilled the hot water for tea over our bedroom carpet.....so the carpet was wet for the rest ...

Excellent value for money, no bad surprises

I read most of the reviews here *after* I booked by cruise on MSC Meraviglia. I was prepared for the worst given the horrendous experiences reported here (including the *absolutely unfathomable* lack of tissues onboard). Research was essential to bypass some of the potential problems reported on the reviews, and I ended up having a very, very good experience onboard. Booking: Apparently MSC ...

I chose this cruise for the price. My husband and I cruise an average of once per month. This was our first time on a MSC ship. I can't believe the amount of reviewers who wrote to complain about the dumbest littlest things. Yes the ship is crowded after all its sold out. Is it dangerously overcrowded, duh NO! Food- limited but cooked well and tasty. Great pizza! Cabin-Spacious ...

Lovely ship let down by the crew

We just got back from the 12th - 19th Jan cruise around Miami, Jamaica, Grand Cayman etc. I have to say, the ship is stunning... very clean and very spacious with lots of great features. The shows were amazing. I actually found the food to be good - not outstanding, but as good as any other cruise ship I have been on. What let this ship down for me was the staff. We had to change our ...

We chose this cruise based entirely upon cost. And we got what we paid for. The ship was far too large and crowded for my comfort. I knew we had a problem on the first day when we checked in and were not referred to the proper desk (Diamond members not referred to the desk dealing with them). We found our way to our cabin, and when we attended the lifeboat muster, I was amazed that we were not ...

Good price. Six days five night cruise was $179. . Embarkation was average. It takes a bit of time for 2500 people to board a ship so that was not remarkable either way. When we arrived onto the ship we were INUNDATED with a pitch to buy the beverage package about 50 or 60 times in the guest lobby. Once we were given our cabin assignment we were allowed to go to the luncheon. Once again inundated ...

This was just an OK cruise. First cruise on MSC. The price was fantastic, which was the primary reason we signed up. We didn't book until early December for a January cruise and they were offering huge deals to fill the boat. Embarkation was a nightmare. We waited almost 2 hours to get signed in and on the boat. The boat was also at a different dock than it was supposed to be. It was at Dock D ...

Very different from other cruises

This was our first MSC cruise and the best way to put it is that it is very different. First of all, it's a good thing that they are able to incorporate multiple languages in every announcement. It really helps show that they are an "international" cruise. But it gets VERY long. As for entertainment, they introduced EVERYONE. I mean EVERYONE, from the wait staff all the way to the head chef. I ...
