We got a good deal on this ship and needed to use 5 days leave-had cruised on the Magnifica a few years so thought it would be good as a new ship. The ship is beautiful and we had a Bella balcony cabin which was very spacious and a lovely shower HOWEVER - the adult facilities are not enough for the amount of passengers. We were not full at 4,900 and it takes 6,300 but after a show or at dinner time it was heaving along the shop area. Upon arriving by car at the dock, I have always been used to my luggage being taken from me at my car (RCI), this did not happen and we had to join a long queue to drop our bags off before entering the terminal. We just wrapped up a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords on MSC Virtuosa. It departed from Southampton. It was our first time on MSC and our first time on a large ship; capacity was around 6,000 guests. I’ll start by saying the Virtuosa is a beautiful ship. It’s only 2 years old and isn’t lacking for features. It’s beautifully made and the detail and quality of the interior is second to none and our cabin was excellent. However, there are just too many passengers.
