Just completed a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean to South America. The ship's staff were great. Very helpfull, polite and happy. Perhaps as many of them were heading to their home country. Lots of good humour and they seemed to be interested in you. Lots of information provided by them on the areas of our onward journey.
The ship was very clean and facilities were good. ...
This was a repositioning cruise that was excellent value for money. The staff were wonderful, especially our waiter Daniel Berg Cavalcante. He remembered all of our wine choices and preferences and was professional, polite and always made us feel welcome at the table, taking a genuine interest in our days activities. The entertainment staff were also great fun, ensuring that we didn't get bored on ...
We were pleasantly surprised since we had read negative reviews prior to our trip about the cruise ship. Embarkation was a breeze and very organized in Genoa, Italy. We arrived in Genoa a few days prior to embarkation and stayed within walking distance to the port. Ports of calls were excellent, Genoa, Barcelona, Casablanca, Tenerife, Medeira, Malaga, and Rome. The disembarkation in ...
Me and my husband have to travel a lot between Brasil and Spain, and we would do it every time by cruise, if there were cruises all year.
As it is, we try to get them anytime we can. We would love if you could start a regular line, as it used to have many years ago....
We like MSC more than other lines, unfortunately we had a bad experience with Costa, they charged us a tax that wasn't said ...
We want to highlight the outstanding cabin cleaning services performed by Rebecca, the maid of our cabin (10229) and the impeccable waiter serving our table, Kadik (we had the table 530, 2nd evening session). Very good points for the ship, the cabin, the dining and the staff. Entertainment on board for OK, except for some shows performed at the theater. The ballet dancers, the soprano and the ...
We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, the ship had a lovely atmosphere and we were treated well on all occasions. It was enjoyable to stroll around the ship as it was extremely tasteful. Our cabins were comfortable and well maintained and spotlessly clean. We particularly enjoyed our balconies especially when coming into a port.
We dined at Le Maxims and the service was excellent. It was nice to ...
The ship itself is wonderful with lots of glass & see through as well as really nice interior. It includes several pools and different areas for relaxation. We also liked the various bars that played live music.
We chose a cabin with a window within the fantastica level, as it was situated on the 8th deck right above the reception area it allowed us fast access even when the lifts were too busy ...
This cruise was recommended by Barrhead travel. I read loads of reviews before I left and I was a bit worried as they weren't all positive.
We really enjoyed the cruise, staff were excellent, drinks package great choices and the food in red velvet room was excellent.
The language barrier that people complained about wasn't a problem for us. We found that if someone didn't speak English then ...
The problem here is that by its nature, moving 4,000+ people of different nationalities, ages, languages and classes around the med is a logistical nightmare and for MSC to get it even 80% right would be a miracle.
So starting with the Booking, it was easy to do and the booking staff were patient. However, the website is very poor being just a poor translation of the Italian one and customer ...
This was our second MSC cruise and it was every bit as good as the first. The ship was spotless, the crew were happy and the food was good. The icing is always when the weather is good and we had calm seas and high temperatures so we were happy !The event planning was especially well thought out and the excursions are diverse and really enjoyable. We climbed Vesuvius, rambled through Las Ramblas, ...
