Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

We just returned from an 18 day transatlantic cruise on the msc divina and it was the cruise from hell!!! We are experienced cruisers and this was, by a mile, the worst company we have ever sailed with. Although we could write a book about our experience, we will give just a few instances of what we put up with. The many people we spoke with aboard ship agreed that msc is not a cruise line they ...

MSC Divina is a beauty queen by itself, but GUEST SERVICE, does not seem to be in their vocabulary, so if this part is important for you, before you book on MSC look at what you might get on other cruise lines. I got badly injured on one of their ship, I was 10% responsible and they were 90%. I had no help in any way and had to pay the Dr on board the ship and not enjoy the cruise like I should ...

MSC - Not for me again.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

The MSC Diving is an absolutely beautiful ship and all of the ports of call were wonderful - if only things on the ship were as good. Cons: 1. The food in the buffet - deck 16. The catering is for the European clientele and not for Canadians, British and American. Food is heavy and sits in pools of oil. Very difficult to find food to eat. Also noted that the food handlers did not use gloves. ...

First and last cruise i will ever go on. The ship is ment to be new, i found the room dirty - our bin still has previous rubbish in - rust in the bathroom. We booked with the information we had they told us we were booked all inclusive. that was not the case. We ended up with a drinks package basically, a limited to anything without an astrix drink pakeage. Each day you will be charged a ...

The week as a whole did not start well flew ok from Gatwick arrived Genoa husband collected in wheelchair as we had planned but then things went wrong the wheelchair assistance disappeared as soon as we reached the coach - the coach driver refused to allow my husband to sit on the Coach even though other passengers were already on the Coach and he was left standing for over 20 minutes unable to ...

every cruise line has a care of duty to their staff and their guests, they must never put you in danger, they must be helpful, have patience, be understanding, use common sense, have the time to talk to the guests, have the decency to say good morning, and above all, make you feel welcome. MSC does none of this, in fact, they do the absolute opposite, let me explain. 1, msc arranged our ...

Well if your British and like a cruise where by you can dress up each night forget this one. If you like a cruise where men expect the wife's to dress up and they just can not be bothered, or the none English passages do not want to mix with you and are rude this is for you. Entertainment if you speak English you have to be very quick to hear the one or two english words they use. It was ...

After a week on the ship which was very crowded and standing room only in the pools on our last morning we were told to meet at 8.45 to disembark. We were told that we would be taken to the airport which is a 10 minute journey for our flights which were at 15.10. So in other words they wanted to dump us off as quick as possible even though we had paid for the transfer which should have coincided ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Poesia

Let me start off by saying that my wife and I are Americans and have cruised many times and traveled throughout southern Europe before. We are not ones to complain, more or less we assume everyone is doing the best they can. But this cruise was pathetic. Wanting to enjoy a vacation with mixed cultures, to enjoy the differences in culture and language, so we booked a 7 day western European ...

We usually cruise the Caribbeans but wanted to show our daughters a bit of Europe for a change. Although the food reviews had us worried we figured it couldn't be too hard to find something eat. Wrong! I can only say that most of the time half the buffet was closed and the other half was over crowded. They served the same food the whole cruise more or less (recycling everything). They had ...
