We went a weekend and we really had a good time because in the end it's a vacation but inside the cruise very bad service the food was fatal too many people to such an extent that there were endless queues I would never repeat. You had high expectations and I left very disappointed it's really my experience I made the mistake of not checking the comments first and for me the worst thing was that ...

This was our 3rd cruise with MSC - we traveled on the Klove cruise in 2015, 2017, and this past January. This will be our last time with MSC - this past trip my husband and I traveled with my sister and her husband Here are my notes… Positive Boarding was much simpler Tarzon was very helpful at the customer service desk Negative Upon check in - sister & hubby were told ...

Tired ship, dirty room and poor food…and mirrors EVERYWHERE

Was recently on board for a convention as a first time cruiser. I was frankly hesitant as I’m not a big fan of crowds or lines or being trapped on a boat. So, I had a pretty low set of expectations..and unfortunately, my fears were realized. Nothing on this trip made me want to go back on a cruise with MSC or any other cruise line. Entry/Exit was simple, and that was one of the best ...

Awful food but did save best for last!!! Should be renamed Mediocre Slop Cruises

I was on the cruise based on Winter’s fantastic retreat. The cruise ship, though remodeled, had pockets to reflect, but overall, it was an old, standard, confusing layout ship. The food was awful, with not much variety. I agree with previous posts; the best item was Pizza, better than most cruise lines. I can deal with mediocre food on cruises, but the service was mediocre at best. I would give ...

Boring and the food sucks

The ship is pretty. However there’s nothing to do on the ship. They have over priced dollar store crap in their stores and minimal shows you can attended. Most other cruise lines have fun activities planned all day long. MSC doesn’t they have one major show that’s performed 2 times a night. Their staff is actually pretty rude too. The food is weird. On their island they served some odd items ...

First observation when we arrived at the pool deck, no music, only a very disappointing 15-20 minute animated game throughout the cruise. we had to use our own speaker…. The pool was too deep, and the jacuzzi was overload. Chair was very dangerous and broken. The quality of the food has dropped significantly compared to Seascape. Almost no seafood etc and very basic menu. unfortunately only one ...

Pros are supposed to go before cons, so I will put the positives first, but please don’t miss the negatives later in this review, because although there were a few redeeming qualities, make no mistake, I would never sail with MSC again. First positive, all the staff below the managerial level deserve to be commended for being true, if not powerless, delights. We had many wonderful interactions ...

Our family have traveled at MSC ships before from Durban South Africa but this last cruise was very disappointing. Boarding took 4 hrs of various queues at the new durban cruise terminal. Ship feels extremely crowded even jf to be expected this time around was extremely crowded, service is extra slow at all areas with what looks like an understaffed ship with very overworked staff. Staff is ...

Disappointing Cruise Experience: Broken Baggage, Missing Amenities, and Unresolved Issues

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

While transferring my very large baggage (40kg capacity) from the port to my room, one wheel broke completely, making it impossible to move. They only offered $50 for the repair of the baggage and, when asked if there was a place to repair it onboard, they said no. After this cruise, I had to visit five other cities, with a flight immediately after disembarking from the ship, which we barely ...

MSC Could Almost be Great with a Little Effort -

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

Sailing MSC makes you realize how some other lines really get it right. And what it's like when done wrong. The itinerary decided this try, and my brother in law sailed this very ship March 2023 for a short jaunt to ensure it was a good choice. He had a great 5 day Caribbean cruise so we were excited to try MSC for the first time on a special Christmas cruise. SUMMARY: I hope your family ...
