Last minute short cruise with the right itinerary at the right price. Booked Yacht Club Balcony from Orlando to Freeport and stop at the private island. Embarkation- seamless with dedicated butler zipping you past the lines and into the top aft floors. Dining- great a la carte on the YC Restaurant. Great lamb chops. Excellent breakfasts and outstanding service. Was hesitant about cruise ...

Our two daughters my husband and myself boarded in Venice for a trip of a lifetime. We had a cabin with a toilet flushing problem. We reported the problem and engineers came on several occasions to change parts but they could never fix the problem. The ship was only 3/4 full but we were never offered another cabin. We had to use the downstairs public bathroom the entire cruise. On our last ...

First and Last MSC Cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Sinfonia

I've been on about 50 cruises on all the major lines, and this was my first and last cruise with MSC. The itinerary was great and unique, so I had to try it, but I didn't realize the stepdown in quality compared to Royal and Princess and the other major brands. The food was not good. We tried the sit down dinners twice, and they were very slow and every single item was terrible, so we just had ...

We have friends who love to take Cruises. They suggested that we try MSC as they are new to the U.S. and had some pretty competitive deals. We were excited to try them out as our first experience!!!.. Overall it was a great experience. The Ship was clean from top to bottom. Plenty of bars for service, a solid buffet, and the drink package is well worth it !! I would say stay away from the main ...

Worst Cruise Experience Ever. Avoid!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Splendida

Complaints: 1) Even before the cruise started, upon booking at the said price, 30% of the cruise price was added on as taxes. That was a surprise to me - I never found out who got that tax money, or what it was used for. €300 wasted? Time wasted trying to find out, unsuccessfully, what it was about. 2) Before I even got on the cruise there was chaos. Despite reading all paperwork - I was not ...

Great ports but the service and ship were a huge disappointment

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Where to begin… First, thing to know is that even though you may have paid for excursions in advance. Excursions are not confirmed by the ship until the night before the excursion port at 8pm. Which means you may have your plans cancelled at the last minute and have very few options to rebook as the good tours are already full. This was very frustrating as we had 2 tours cancelled the night ...

Good First Cruise with Kids

I benefited from many of the reviews, and I thought I would leave my own review for future travelers. This was our first cruise of a family of five with daughters ranging from eight to twelve years old. As our first cruise, not knowing if we liked the concept, we mostly chose MSC due to the cost compared to the major brands. Overall, we had an excellent time with MSC and the logistics of ...

Embarkation at Port Canaveral was done in under 45 mins start to finish, despite warnings of queues in previous weeks, although this sailing was half-full. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful, as were the crew on the ship who kept it spotless everywhere. (Disembarkation was equally easy, although not all our cases were present straightaway so we waited about 15 minutes. The card ...

Great cruise, bringing MSC in line with USA lines

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

We've cruise a range of lines before, including princess, celebrity , carnival, RCL and NCL. This cruise was great, highly comparable to NCL, Royal and Carnival, but not as good as princess or celebrity. Hopefully this review is useful and debunks some of the other more critical reviews. Pro's..... - Large, clean and modern cruise ship - Lots of great bars and lounges - No ...

Awful ship, mediocre food.

Chose mostly for low price. But ship was really substandard from the start. No soap in bathroom dispenser , no washcloths, 2 towels for 3 people. We called twice in 2 hours, since we wanted to shower before going to dinner. Wound up eating in sweaty shorts since towels and soap kept not coming. No outlets by bed, so you can't charge your phone while reading yourself to sleep or answering emails. ...
