Our 2nd cruise with MSC. This time on World Europa out of Barcelona. Flew into barcelona the night before and stayed in the Fontair Congress near the airport. The hotel had a cruise and stay package, so free pick up from airport, room, breakfast and free transfer to the port. Hotel is 10 mins from airport and 25 mins from the port. Next to the hotel is a shopping centre, and a ...

We enjoyed the cruise and everything that went with it. We were not very impressed with the on-board shows. We expected more from a Mediterranean cruise. On previous local water (SA) cruises the shows where very entertaining. As one can expect from a mainstream cruise, there were a lot of passengers which made meal times a nightmare. Doesn't matter if you go earlier or later. I guess one should ...

Just back from 1Wk on World Europa from Barcelona, last min birthday present. As it was a January trip, fleeces and jackets were packed. We have done this Med cruise several times before on different ships, so we know the ports, know the script etc. The ship is quite new, and as my other half can get affected by choppy seas, we decided to take an inside cabin, which faces the “promenade” view ...

POSITIVES: We booked a Fantastica package with one device Wifi and premium drinks package. The balcony cabin on Port side deck 10 was lovely. Spotlessly clean, roomy, comfy bed and compact shower/bathroom. The TV had mostly non-English speaking channels but this did not bother us. The quality of the food in the complimentary restaurants and buffets was very good. We ate breakfast in Il ...

MSC WORLD EUROPA - I have just come back from a 7 night cruise trip in the Med. Having been on the Seashore I must say that the World Europa ship got me a little bit disappointed. The layout is not as good. Excellent: Animation team. Outdoor areas. Good: Cleanliness. Most of the bar staff. Food ( apart from the food poisoning from mussles). Bad: -Layout. -Promenade ...

So I booked this December cruise in the mediterranean and then started reading several negative review.I was worried. Had I made the wrong choice? I did not, so let me address the complaints I read and give you my experience. Boarding: Was super fast. Maybe 15 min at the most.I was a solo traveler and boarded in Barcelona. Room: I had a room with promenade view. Bed was super comfy and if I ...

I also did a live review that's much more comprehensive than this one, so search for Live from MSC World Europa. NYE Cruise, December 29, 2023 out of Barcelona on the MSC boards. Pre-Cruise: We stayed 3 nights pre-cruise in Barcelona at the NH Collection Grand Hotel Calderon in Barcelona. I have American Express Platinum, which got me some extra credit and perks, but it was nice, clean, modern ...

This is my 5th cruise, having travelled mainly with RC and P&O before this. Overall it was a good experience for being first time with MSC in Yacht Club. Cabin was excellent- good size, clean, tidy, comes with a complementary choice of alcohol (ranging from hard liquor/champagne/wine) to take home with. Mini bar refilled daily, drinks are included, but note that snacks are included for the ...

Its my wife's birthday on the 26th November, so we always like to take a short cruise to celebrate the occasion. We are frequent cruisers (70+) with Cunard/Princess/P&O and others, but since experiencing the MSC Yacht Club on the Virtuosa, immediately after Covid in June 2021, we now mainly only cruise with MSC, but it has to be in the Yacht Club. For those of you who have never experienced ...
