Worst Cruise Ever on MSC to Greenland and Iceland

Review for a Arctic Cruise on MSC Poesia

This was our first cruise/holiday in the post covid world. The experience with MSC was so bad and disappointing in every way that it has put us off ever doing another cruise with any cruise line. It seem that MSC’s bean counters have worked out how to strip as much expense out of their cruises - from the ports, food, entertainment and facilities offered on board. I have given the following ...

Worst cruise we've taken

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

MSC 25 cruises later, worse experience ever on board the very underwhelming MSC Meravilgia. Where do we start? We stayed in the Royal Suite, one of two on the ship, in the Yacht Club, $18K USD for a 17-day Transatlantic cruise. It was myself and my 26-year-old son. From a negative embarkation experience with an argumentative and unprofessional cabin steward, it basically went downhill ...

Theis ship is horrible, the service is so bad there is no excuse for it. It takes ages for a waiter to come to you for drinks in the main buffet even tho you have a bell for colling them, one time the waiter came to the table canceled the call and just walked away without takeing our order, when we asked him why he did that he came with such a dumb excuse, and thats is all the staff have for ...

Embarked in Warnemunde, embarkation was fine. Went to the rooms, was room 10241,aft balcony. Large balcony however the engines shook so much, I couldn’t sleep half of the 10 nights. Then, the food. Half of it was inedible, the other half was disgusting. I ate salad and salad the whole cruise. There was lack of diversity in food. No prepared sandwich, no omelet station, the burgers were stale, all ...

Never Again

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on MSC Preziosa

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

Chose the cruise on the recommendation of a travel agent (who I usually trust). Wanted to see the fjiords. The fjiords were a delight. However, once I entered the ship there is an onslought of people trying to sell you photos and all sorts of rubbish. This is uncalled for given that the cruise. We is paid for upfront. In addition, its a very tacky operation and you can hardly move with ...

Never again!!!!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Magnifica

We choose this cruise because of the ports of call. Just returned from the worst 12 day cruise ever. The ship was nice, the guest so rude you really wouldn't believe it, pushing, shoving, telling you to get off the elevator so their family could all get in(even though you were there first). The crew were mostly unfriendly, I was asking a question to one of the supervisors, and he told me ...

The cruise was an RACQ promo, the ports were fine and most of the stall helpfull, Boarding the high pressure selling package began- water , coffee, wine, meal upgrades. This was a combined cruise - 28 days, but dishing up the same menu and show(which , was not high class, only lasted about an hour) every week -NOT GOOD. (my wife is gluten free, but getting chicken every meal gets boreing)The ...

As we were going to be in Copenhagen we thought we should do something from there. 3 days in Copenhagen was great and the HOHO(Hop on hop off Bus) was great to get around. The 3 day pass seemed a bit dear but when you consider we got 2 free beers at Carlsberg Brewery and on our last day you could take your bags on the HOHO and when you got off at the mermaid(forget her name) they transported ...

Evaluation: First the bit positive there is to write. The positive list of employees who have made themselves particularly noticed: William, Florian, Luis Zamora, Umesh Kumar, Leo (happy face) and Milena. Housekeerber Ni Luh Atariani, she cannot do more than what she is doing because of company policy. In addition to the mentioned there are a good handful that want and do it best, ...

DON'T GO ON THE MUSICA

Review for a Europe - Black Sea Cruise on MSC Musica

We have cruised on Holland America - can't find any fault there - our friends have cruised with Princess - also could not find any fault. MSC Musica was an experience that we would not want to repeat. The ship was fine, our cabin was good and our cabin steward, Ina, and our waiter Sugi were the only crew members who went out of his way to make us feel welcome on the ship. In the 13 night cruise, ...
