We have cruised Carnival, NCL and Disney and always wonder about MSC. We always saw the ship in ports and they looked stunning from other cruises.
Pro - beautiful ship, room attendant
Con - lacked elevators considering the size, we felt bad for those with ADA needs.
Horrible dining food, worst we had on a cruise, glad we paid for specialty dining for two nights. We did the steakhouse, ...
This was our first time sailing on MSC and in Yacht Club. We are very experienced cruisers - NCL Haven, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Windstar, Seabourn, and Holland America. Yacht Club was an exceptional experience. The staff on board are incomparable. They are kind, efficient, gracious and helpful. Embarkation was speedy and seamless. The food in the Yacht Club restaurant is incredible and the ...
I picked this cruise because it allowed us to visit 6 ports and by getting creative with excursions, we got to visit 8 islands in a week. We generally had a wonderful time. The food was good at both the main dining room for dinner as well as the buffet. I was generally always able to eat something I liked. They have hot sauce, salt, and pepper in the buffet so you can spice up any food you find ...
First time on MCS, coming over from Platinum Carnival which we have been on way too many times, we were very excited to try a 'luxury line'. To say we were very disappointed, is an understatement. Here are the top items we didnt like:
- Elevators suck! First, there is NO AC in the elevators. None. Then, elevators us a system where you select your floor first, outside of the elevator, and it ...
Good day, Lady, Sir
First of all we would like to thank all crew members for our unforgettable trip!
Thank you for all your patience and hospitality!
The food both in the Marketplace and in the Aegean restaurant was delicious and of high quality.
Our balcony cabin was clean and hygienic, the shower could perhaps have been a bit bigger...but that's a bit of a quibble.
The ...
We did a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise on the MSC Seascape in March 2024 - and in our opinion - everything about it was fantastic. Please note that we did our cruise in the Yacht Club - so our experience may not have been the same as that of those not in the YC facilities.
Embarkation was quick and efficient - again courtesy of Yacht Club benefits. We dropped of bags with the YC porters at ...
My husband, daughter, and ten-year-old granddaughter and I just disembarked from the March 3 sailing of the MSC Seashore. We are experienced cruises (25+) with about 8 MSC cruises.
Embarkation: We arrived a bit too early and had to wait outside the terminal (my fault.) Once in the terminal, the procedure went quickly. I wish MSC would require credit card authorization at this point rather than ...
That cruise was choosed because of itinerary and value for money. It was right choice, everything was great for rookie.
Most impressive thing-in all ports, when we came back from shore excursion, the ship personal was waiting in the pier, offering cold wet towels and cold orange or lemon water (the days were really hot and lot of moisture).
Shore excursions (bought from MSC before embarkation) ...
The Seashore is an all chrome and glass ship in the main areas. The cabin, midship 12th floor balcony, was less than desirable. Started the first day placing a plastic bag of toileties on a shelf in the bathroom and the heavy metal shelf popped off and whacked my leg. The screws were missing on the shelf. The carpet in the cabin was deplorable. Old, shabby, always felt damp. Closet door was ...
The ship was overbooked and you had to wait in line for everything.
You had to wait in line to used the spas and you had 10 minutes maximum allowed in it.
The trip from NYC to Port Canaveral is really bumpy. A lot of passengers were seasick and you could smell the vomit while walking on the ship.
Our room was not well clean as you can see in the pictures.
I found some disgusting ...
