No proper control, especially regarding Covid despite MSC proclaiming how careful they are.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

We will start by saying that we have been cruising for 25 years therefore we know what to expect. We joined the boat in Barcelona and arrived at the port at our scheduled time of 3pm. MSC said for us to arrive on time so as to avoid long awaits. We do not know what MSC understands to be a long wait but it took us three hours to get aboard. During this time we stood in countless queues ...

This post is my honest open account of our holiday 23-30th October on MSC Grandiosa. There were 4 adults one with a disability and 2 children aged 5 and 2. 2x balcony rooms not connected both Fantastica. We have sailed with MSC once before. We went to celebrity and came back to MSC. Sharing this as I want readers to understand we’ve been on MSc pre covid and have that to bench this ...

We are frequent cruisers (with several different lines), but this was our first cruise with MSC. We were excited because this cruise was supposed to go to Casablanca. In fact we chose this cruise specifically because of this destination. It was only when we printed off our cruise documents four days prior to leaving for Barcelona (non-refundable RT airfare from Miami, non-refundable prepaid ...

MSC, MS... NO! MS...Never Again!

The ship was absolutely beautiful. The elevator system was exceptionally efficient. For us this cruise was not a good value. We feel we overpaid for what we experienced. The Buffett was always nightmarishly overcrowded. The food quality was excellent though. The Loggia restaurant was very good. Our waiter and his assistant were very professional and caring. The cruise did not show enough ...

Bad Service and Pay For EVERYTHING

Having sailed previously on MSC Divina in Carebbean on two ocasion, thaught a mediterranean cruise with MSC would be a good idea. Wrong. Mediterranean cruises are not like in the caribbean. Not even the water on the dining room is free! Yes you will pay to have your meal with water. Also service is terrible, european restaurant service expecting a service charge? Embarkation: was really well ...

The company is not transparent in many ways. Let's start with the cabin, the photo they advertise is completely different than the actual cabin (Bella experience ocean view). They advertise the cabin being more spacious and with a couch (not a big deal). Paying for a cruise, you expect to be entitled to most of the amenities. However, paying for the cruise seemed to be more of just an entry fee. ...

Well after 73 cruises I can finally say never again on MSC. My pros were : Embarkation in Barcelona and disembarkation in Barcelona Our wait staff in main dining room (I use the term dining room loosely) Our cabin steward was good. Ship was beautiful. Our cabin was ok too, although closet placement was a poor design. Cons: Generally unfriendly staff on board (language ...

Veteran cruiser this was our 5th with MSC. Sadly they seem to be going backwards with Entertainment, food and service. I gave this review 2 stars, out of the dozen or so cruises I have taken this was by far the least enjoyable. This is the reason for each star I knocked off. 1. Lets start with entertainment. It was bad, the shows they put on were cheap and the crew performing were poor. ...

Terrible Food, Poor Organization of Excursions, Etc

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

The ship is beautiful but foods, both in restaurant and buffet, are terrible. Food in restaurant is far from enough and I had to eat again in buffet. Food quality, both in restaurant and buffet are far from tasty. We were originally arranged sitting in Silver Dolphin restaurant same table with strangers while many tables are still not occupied. Excursions are professional organized. We were ...

Have been on many cruises including msc but The Bellissima is a ship out to bleed cruisers dry every way you turn the are trying to get money from you even when in the dining room which they refer to as the complimentary restaurant they pester you to buy steaks and to use the gourmet restaurants which are pricey it’s a joke .Another thing most of the bar staff I found where cheeky and ignorant and ...
