MSC Seaview, nice surprise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

Already at home after 2 years of cancellations and changes of ships and itineraries, finally I was able to cruise the western Mediterranean again, this time on the MSC Seaview, and finally enjoy a few days in Barcelona. It was not the ship initially planned, but I had a very good impression of the Seaview, better than I expected. It is a big ship, but full of nooks and crannies, so everyone can ...

This is our third cruise on MSC including a trip in yacht club prior to this cruise around the Mediterranean. We flew into wonderful BCN and the cruise port is a very short cab ride to the terminal. Embarkation was long but met expectations due to the many COVID hoops to jump through and documents to check. Once onboard we went to our balcony cabin on deck 13 which was much smaller than expected. ...

Price was right. The ship is amazing! The staff stepped up where they could, given current Covid related restrictions.

MSC was one of the few options for a Mediterranean cruise this time of year and during the pandemic. We were grateful to be able to go, and at a reasonable price. We knew it would not have all of the "wow" factor because of health and regulatory restrictions, but the staff made up for that, especially the team in the Purple Crab. They focused on what they could control, providing the best ...

Sailed with a friend on this winter sailing round the Med from Barcelona, and can't recommend MSC Yacht Club experience enough. From the moment you arrive and make your self know to any of the butlers, you will have the most beautiful time, MSC beat any other cruise line, hands down with the attention to detail and service for YC guests. We booked a YC Grand Suite, which was originally just ...

We did a week on Grandiosa from Genoa to Malta and back on 25/10. It was great, we felt really safe and looked after. We covid tested 3 days before departure at home then again on the day of departure (MSC's test in port) and again 3 days before disembarking. Gel was everywhere as were good handwashing stations which we were made to use before all meals. We wore masks everywhere except at ...

We were on a MSC cruise on Grandiosa which left from Barcelona January 9 2020. We are Australians with teenage children 15 and 17 and have previously been on a Norwegian cruise out of Venice in 2018 and a Carnival cruise in Australia in 2017. We booked a Bella balcony cabin very close to front of boat on the left hand side on deck 11. For us, this cruise was intended as one week ...

MSC has some grand ships and wonderful dining. And this one was amazing. The weather was colder and rainier so we had a lot more time inside the ship. For the most part, it seems consistently reported that the customer service and ability to resolve issues seems solidly lacking with regard to the staff. Our group had lots of technical issues before the cruise online etc. On the Grandiosa, the ship ...
