We bought this as a first attempt at a relaxing holiday that doesn't require us to deal with the chaos of flying to a sunny all inclusive. I have no cruise experience to balance my opinions so I thought I would simply lay them out as I found them.
1. Drinks packages are only needed if you want to drink cocktails 24/7. At £20 for a bottle of wine, I shouldn't have bothered with getting one. DO ...
I chose it for the itinerary. The negative UK reviews had me scared but I have learned about British moaners on this cruise. I am glad I took this cruise. The ship is immaculate. Most of the staff are happy and work very hard to make your trip wonderful. The junior ocean view cabin was clean, modern and the window the largest I have ever had on a cruise ship. The Minueto dining room was bright ...
We just got off a 7N Norway cruise on board the MSC Fantasia from Kiel, Germany. Having cruised multiple times with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess, we were unsure about how we would like MSC, especially an older ship of theirs.
We travelled as part of a pretty big group. We had 5 balcony cabins between the 10 adults and 1 infant and fortunately we were all close to one another. We ...
We was travelling as a LGBT couple aged 37 & 27 from the UK, this was our 7th cruise and 4th with MSC. We embarked in Southampton, England - the terminal is new however the process of dropping the bags off to going through security up to boarding the ship seemed a little chaotic however you couldn't be sure if they was down to MSC or the port staff. The minute we stepped onboard you are just ...
Having sailed on MSC twice before we once again chose Yacht Club. Our arrival in Southampton was hectic, four ships in port and the roads gridlocked, once we arrived the MSC Yacht Club team took over and within 35 mins we were sitting with Prosecco and nuts (not the passengers) awaiting a very speedy boarding process passing the waiting queues with some derogatory comment from other passengers. ...
This was my 2nd cruise with MSC and my first in Europe. It was a nice experience. The MSC Fantasia is a nice ship and the crew couldn't have been nicer. We had a better service experience than we did on our first cruise in the Bahamas.
The food was decent in the main dining room and the buffet food was quite good. We had a drinks package included with our cruise fare, which included ...
Beautiful ship though no library!! Very reasonable priced cruise though add ons expensive on board.
Excellent Spa.
Exceptional carousel shows & Ballet/Opera productios in the afternoon on sea days fantastic ...recomnend prebooking all. Which you can do some pre cruise & others on board via mobile app or on screens on ship (Note; be aware if Carosel show prebooked prior cruise, you have to ...
I just read a review that was very long, so I'll try to be concise. This was a 7 day New Year's Eve sailing out of Le Havre (Paris) with stops at Southampton, Hamburg, Zebrugge, and Rotterdam. Because this was a holiday sailing, the ship was at full capacity, with over 6,300 passengers. For some reason, there were a lot of children on board.
Pre-Cruise: Spent 3 nights in Paris, which we ...
MSC Cruises has been a significant part of our travel experiences for a long time, given that we reside in Europe. Our recent voyage on the MSC Preziosa over the holiday season, encompassing both Christmas and New Year's, left an indelible mark on us. The overall experience was nothing short of fantastic.
One of the standout aspects of our MSC Preziosa cruise was the exceptional service ...
This was our 3rd cruise with MSC. In the past this was not a cruise line we would have sailed with but when cruising resumed in 2021 this line embarked passengers in Greenock so we took the opportunity to sail on Virtuosa. Truthfully, last year we were not impressed not the fault of MSC more the passenger demographic however it wasn't a typical cruise so we decided to give MSC another chance and ...
