Review Embarkation in Southampton was very smooth. We arrived at the port just before 10am. From parking to 6walking into the beautiful Galleria Virtuosa was around 30 minutes. Cabin - we were in cabin which had an oversized angled balcony. Our stateroom was very clean and relatively spacious. The cabin steward was really friendly and kept the room immaculate. I'd specifically chosen the ...

Wonderful cruise to Iceland and Norway in a Yacht Club Duplex suite

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on MSC Virtuosa

We usually cruise with Celebrity in the Retreat (but have also done one cruise with NCL and one previous MSC Yacht Club cruise). We've cruised several times to Iceland and to Norway, but we were drawn to this cruise because it gave us a chance to see them both in one two-week cruise. At the time of booking, the cruise should have been sailing from Southampton to Greenock, Stornoway, Isafjordur, ...

Fantastic Experience

I felt compelled to leave a review, reading some really negatives ones - whether people have exceptionally high expectations or just enjoy whinging, I’m not sure… but we had a fantastic holiday! The crew are incredible. First and foremost. They were all friendly and welcoming. Granted, the security guards were a bit salty at times, but frankly, they deal with some real idiots. We heard one ...

One of the best holidays ever

This was my first cruise experience. I went with my family. We all enjoyed it a lot. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious we really enjoyed it a lot. We were with our disabled child who had special dietary requirements and we were worried about fulfilling them but the staff was so kind and helpful that on very first day when we asked Mr. Lopes, one of the service ...

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Virtuosa

The reason i use msc is because kids go free. I have three children and simply cannot afford to pay adult prices for my whole family I'm an experienced cruiser, who has used all the major cruise lines. We Enjoyed them all immensely, but paid twice the price or even more. Despite not charging me for my kids, they then have a free kids club for each child and also take them for their meals. ...

Value for money

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Virtuosa

For the price we paid (slightly under 100pppn) for an interior room with premium drinks package, we had a lovely holiday and would absolutely aboard the MSC Virtuosa again. There were plenty of things to get upset/frustrated by, but we got well beyond what we paid for, and we're therefore delighted! Positives - Beautiful ship - Excellent value - Speciality dining was fantastic and, ...

1st time Yacht Club and she didn't disappoint

I should add that I have done 2 cruises previously with MSC on Seaview and Grandiosa, both times with the aurea package, and always upgrading to the top drinks package. This was a solo cruise and I wanted to have a bit of luxury. It was also a way of testing YC ahead of our Honeymoon in October out of NYC. Arrived at Southampton port (Horizon terminal) around 10.45 and was onboard by 11.20. ...

So this is our 4th MSC cruise , and have sailed with various other lines to compare to. Generally a great cruise, beautiful ship, good food and great staff. Here are a few key bits... Boarding- We boarded at Tenerife in the mid point of a 21 day cruise so there was only 200 others boarding today. Took 5minutes! Brilliant Ship at 50% capacity so nothing was busy anywhere! Not sure what ...

Back on the high seas and it was like I never left!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

This cruise was the result of three previously booked cruises cancelled coming together as one dur to Covid. We cruise as a group of 4 over three bookings. All the staff were friendly, and many quickly learnt what our preferences were. Had a great time in the sports complex playing the games. A few too many of the arcade games were broken which was a shame. Bowling at sea is always fun! The ...
