Worst cruise experience ever

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

Long delays to get off ship. No organization whatsoever with lines. Stood in line for a total of 5 hours to get on and off the ship at newport, with no explanation or apology. We had only an hour in newport because of it. There were tender boats in newport. While we were waiting in line for the tender to take us back to the ship, the tender boat rammed the dock hard, denting the tender boat and ...

We chose this cruise because it was priced competitively and was going to the New England ports we have been wanting to visit. The staff on the ship did a very good job and they treated us well. Getting on the ship was easy and some of the ports were really nice. Now that I have covered all the positives, let me share the negatives. 1-the cabin was not as clean as we would have liked. 2-we ...

We chose this cruise as we liked the look of the itinerary and wanted to give MSC a try! We are seasoned cruisers having cruised as a family and a couple with all the major players. We arrived at Brooklyn Pier, NYC, expecting great things having heard how great the ship was…….. in fairness, the ship itself could not be faulted. Beautiful, clean and well appointed…… great shame the rest of the ...

This was to be our holiday cruise of a life time. We had previously cruised with MSC 5 times including several long ocean crossings although not as long as this one. Took the staff more than 3 days to clean the boat - we left Dubai in a terrible sand storm. We noticed a lot of the little touches were missing - right down to the MSC pens and notepads!! People at our table came down with a ...

We boarded this ship with great optimism after i had been given the all clear after going down with cancer on my previous cruise on Davina maiden voyage to Miami with cancer. MSC knew of my cancer and when we arrived at the ship we were whisked away to our cabin in minutes. From there all down hill apart from the general staff who worked dammed hard for us. First dirty pillows and lumpy ...

The cruise went from Dubai to Perth Australia. It left on February 21, 2015, and was 33 days long. My husband and I will not be using this cruise line again. The Pros • The ship was well decorated. • The room steward was good. • The dining room server was good. The Cons • We could not book excursions on line. If you called up, they asked if you book through them or through ...

MSC – 2015 REPORT ON CRUISE ON THE ‘MSC ORCHESTRA’ 21/02/2015 – 26/03/2015 *CAPTAIN - noticeable by his absence from the passengers. He was not seen mixing with any passengers until the 32nd night. Even the noonday reports were read out by the Cruise Director. *ENTERTAINMENT – whilst not doubting the quality of the artists, the amount of opera and classical music was too much. We only saw ...
