Bella Balcony Stateroom (B1) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: June 2019
Loved the layout with the bed closer to the window. Good hairdryer. Better cupboard layout with pull out drawers. Comfortable bed, good pillows. Good lighting - loved the reading lights! Our cabin steward was amazing.

The cabin is situated in the rear section of the ship, the design has the cabins setback from the edge of the ship so you overlook the life boats. A large metal overhang from the top deck also shades the balcony of these cabins. 11326 is half way up this section so you do get sun on the balcony, however any higher and you would be in the shade most of the day. The storage facilities consisted of a single small wardrobe, OK for 2 people for a week but anything longer and you would be struggling. The cabin did not have any tea or coffee making facilities and strangely for a new ship only 1 USB point next to the power sockets, no power sockets are situated near the beds. The new MSC toy “ZOE” an Amazon Echo type device did not work throughout the cruise and seemed a pointless gimmick. The cabin creaked and groaned continually with any movement of the ship, speaking to other guests most of the cabins had the same problem, no sleep one night due to the noise. Read Less
