Travelling as a solo passenger, I have just returned from a cruise to the Canary Islands and Morocco with MSC Armonia. We usually sail with Thompson but the MSC cruise seemed a cheaper option as there is little no single supplement surcharge. Here are my thoughts and impressions. The ship and services After its recent upgrade I found the ship to be well maintained and modern. My cabin (an inside ...

We booked a cheap 7nt inside cabin cruise. Ship was clean, well presented. Staff were pleasant and courteous. Shows were ok, nothing amazing. Plenty of lounges, places to drink, relax etc. Food in main dining room was mediocre. Sauces were on the bland side, more like glorified gravy. Would be most disappointed to have paid for a suite/balcony cabin and receive the same food. Cabin was simple, ...

My husband and I have just returned from a 7night Canaries cruise, first piece of advice if you book a private transfer through Travel Republic A2B Private Hire, it will tell you to go to desk 16, after queing up for 45mins we were told we were at wrong desk and should be at desk 4, if there's a que at desk 16 check out desk 4 first! We were slightly anxious about cruising with MSC as I had read ...
