We chose this cruise to enjoy the fall scenery of Canada, view the whales and other sea life of the St Laurence Seaway and visit Quebec City. When we embarked in Montreal on Tuesday we were not informed of a mechanical failure that occurred when the boat was arriving. We chose this cruise specifically because of the itinerary. The best of Canadian Maritime.
While the ship itself is in need of a facelift that is not the reason for the rating.

The 5 stars are for the cruise only. The pre and post cruise services are definitely the weak link. We had booked transfers through Silversea. No one was waiting at the airport as we had been told.
