Montreal to Ft Lauderdale. Had a great time. Quick and easy embarkation in Montreal staying at the Springhill Old Montreal which is perfectly located near all Old Montreal highlights. Went on the Canada 7 night cruise out of Montréal to Boston. Took our family of 4 (kids age 8 and 10), and brother and wife. I had done research and knew this was not a “in your face” entertainment cruise but was laid back sailing on a smaller ship with plenty of room to spare. There is no band by the pool and the entertainment on the world stage is pretty … meh.

We took this cruise because of 2 nights in New York City. Although never having sailed with Regent, we were pleasantly surprised. Excellent service by all staff. The ship was not full so staff had more time to visit with passengers. The captain, Serena Melani, was frequently out and about visiting with passengers.
