Montreal to Ft Lauderdale. Had a great time. Quick and easy embarkation in Montreal staying at the Springhill Old Montreal which is perfectly located near all Old Montreal highlights. The service on board was wonderful. We liked the MDR and Lido buffet. Mixed reviews on the specialty dining by our group. Entertainment was great including the band, piano bar player, dancers, singing group, ...

Luxury gone at Seabourn

We traveled with Seabourn 4 times in past. This was our first post Covid trip. Beautiful interiors. Took their highest level veranda on the 8th floor . Small room. Impossible shelving cabinet that left little room in front of bed. Tiny shower, large bath that was quite deep and was difficult to use. House staff worked very hard. Restaurant staff not trained. Requesting water was a big ...

First Regent Cruise - It was AMAZING!

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We have gone on many cruises over the years but mostly on the main stream ships (HAL, Royal, Celebrity, etc.). Last year we tried Azamara for the smaller ship experience and loved it. So this year we thought we’d try the more upscale luxury lines and see how they stack up and how we like them. So we started with the Seabourn Ovation back in March and loved it and didn't think anyone could beat it. ...

Not what you expect from a six star cruise line

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We choose this cruise because of the destination, itinerary and the small size ship. I will start the positive experience saying that the staff was amazing and so serviceminded. They really made this cruise. Public areas: Very nice ambience and nicely decorated but a bit dated. Suit - concierge: Also very nice except for the very dated bathroom. We had a leaking toilet which resulted in ...

Traumatic, Dangerous and horrible experience with Seabourn

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seabourn Quest

"Seabourn clearly do not prioritize guests' interests, needs, health or safety." "Rotten food, serious service issues, and a dangerous cruise overall" I would sail with just about any cruise line rather than Seabourn in the future. They claim to be "ultra-luxury" but proved to be our worst cruise experience ever! We are long-time experienced cruise guests having completed 30+ cruises over the ...

OLD SHIP

We had credits left over from Covid cancelled cruises and decided to see the changing of the leaves on this trip (B/B) from Montreal to Miami. We had been on the Navigator about 11 years ago on a Miami round trip to the Amazon. We heard that it had been refurbished but we found that the ship still creaks and vibrates--so much so it kept us up some nights when the wind was strong and the seas high. ...

Worse cruise ever; not worth the money

Chose this cruise because of previous reviews& wanting to try an upscale cruise. Extremely disappointed due to cancelation of excursions even before encountering Fiona! This ship may have been renovated recently but that did not prevent two backups of our shower within our 11 day stay. There was confusion among staff, lots of them around but not much getting done! There is a lack of supervision as ...

Fall colors

We chose this cruise to visit ports that we had not been to and to see the fall colors. Because we live in Florida, we had forgotten how cold and rainy it gets this time of year. Of course the cruise company does NOT have control of those elements. This is our first cruise since I joined cruise Critics. I did not know how to contact the other members for the meet and mingle events, therefore ...

Silver Spirit, Montreal to NYC. Have sailed too many cruises to list but over the past 12 months have been on Crystal and Queens Grill in Cunard. This Silver Spirit cruise was a return to Silversea having sailed on Cloud, Wind, Shadow and Whisper in the past (and had all very nice cruise on those other Silversea ships) Ship: Looks brand new, loved the cabin and and cabin bathroom. I ...

Nice ship, terrible trip

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Silver Spirit

We just returned from a ten day trip on the Silver Spirit, Montreal to New York City. Out of 25+ cruises this was hands down the worst because of the weather. It was 29 degrees F in Montreal, we got stuck in Quebec City because of a blizzard, Saguenay port was closed because of the weather, Baie-Comeau was closed because the dock was wrecked by the storm and it was rain, snow, sleet and fog in all ...
