Very Nice Iberian Cruise!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Silver Whisper

My wife and I like small ships rather than the large cruise ships because they are more intimate and feature the ports of call as the selling point versus the large floating hotel concept. We also focus on which ports the cruise will call on rather than the time of year or size of boat. This cruise was the second time on Silver Whisper, a Baltic Sea cruise being the first time. On this cruise we ...

I choose my cruise for the service and itinerary. We sailed from Monte Carlo, stopping at Livorno, Sorrento, Taormina, Malta, Croatia and ended in Venice. Embarking was very quick and flawless. Cabin was as expected..... clean, spacious, with the most comfortable bed and soft bed linens. I was on Deck 5, which made getting to anywhere on the ship easy. My butler was sweet (Demba) and efficient ...

A good cruise in poor weather

We cruise more for the ports than any other factor. We have cruised many times on many lines. Last year we did an 18 day cruise on the seabourn Sojourn from Dubai to Singapore. A very good cruise with good staff and service. This year we did a 21 day cruise on the Seabourn Odyssey from Monaco to Lisbon. The main purpose was to go to Morocco for our first time. Unfortunately the weather generally ...

Seabourn an excellent small ship line, had become dissatisfied with Cunard so tried the Seabourn Odyssey in the summer and were very pleased. On Seabourn, service is excellent, standard of ship facilities is very good too. Cuisine on the whole good although more healthy options would suit us better and some of the complimentary wines offered not that great. Enjoyed dining in both the Colonade and ...

First ever cruise. Excellent reports. Ship extremely clean and well set out. Cabin completely satisfactory with excellent service from butler and domestic staff. Major issue with food. Poor quality provision for coeliac disorder. Given many months notice. Poor understanding by restaurant staff. In paying restaurant just given repeat of first course. Food not infrequently served cold. ...

this is going to be a review of our most recent experience aboard Sojourn on deck 10 in a Penthouse Suite - Suite 1025. That suite was marked as "obstructed view balcony" on all of the deck plans, yet the price was the same as all of the other Penthouse suites. Before purchasing that suite, one of the few remaining, I searched high and low for someone online to give me the true lowdown on that ...

Regent not what we expected.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We have cruised a fair amount having been on Celebrity, Oceania and Crystal. We decided to try Regent as the itinerary was great and we heard amazing things about it. There were a lot of great things and some not so great. Firstly, check in was the easiest we have ever had. Our room was the largest as well and very easy for both of us given the walk in closet. The small size of the ship ...
