We booked this cruise last minute to have quick family getaway during the holiday weekend. This was my 10th cruise experience and by far the worst. I did my research on the ship ahead of time so I was aware it was Carnival's oldest ship. The gratuities per person where automatically charged on my card without informing the me (customer) which was weird.
Food- being a Vegetarian it was a hell to pick the right food, the spoon where actually mixed between Veg and non-Veg, I ordered a Veggie Taco and there was meat on it. I ended having cereal the entire cruise time. The food didn’t look good quality for me.

We choose this cruise because of our proximity to the port of Mobile. It was cheap, at least it appeared to be.
Seriously, think twice before booking. We have been on a lot of cruises. Carnival needs to retire this ship, work on it's staffing, attention to detail, service, food, and nickel and diming of guests

We usually go with a different cruise line but went with this trip because it was a family trip. Ship was dry docked for 2 weeks before this scheduled trip (Jan. 21st). The staff and service on the ship is outstanding. They all work hard to try to please you. This is the redeeming quality of the ship. Everyone should make sure the staff is compensated by leaving gratuities on their bill. It isn't fair to remove them!
