Great experience
"This was my 11th cruise, 10th on Carnival. We chose this cruise based on distance from port and price. We was sailing with my husband's parents who were first time cruisers. Parking: Parking for a 5 day cruise..."Read More

First Time Cruiser

Age 30s

I had never been on a cruise before, so I read up a lot, and ended up having a great time. The ship itself is obviously older, and the decor is a little dated, but it is well-maintained and kept clean. Food was fine, drinks were great, and service was excellent. I bought the Cheers package, which was a fantastic choice on my part. A great part of the fun was to drink a lot all cruise long. ...

First Time Cruiser

This was our first cruise and our first time in Mexico so we went into it with no real set expectations. I did do a bit of research beforehand (read reviews, watched Youtube vidoes) which helped us to make the most out of our trip. First off, we got the Cheers package and had a lot of fun with it - from drink service on the Serenity deck to wine and cocktails at dinner, to yummy coffee drinks at ...

2-5 Cruises

Okay this is my second cruise. My first was 10 years ago on the Carnival Ecstasy. I booked this cruise 2 weeks out mostly because I wanted to experience a Fantasy class ship again and it was a port that you can drive to from Kansas. Yes this ship is old and yes she does show some signs of age but she is still a great value for the price and a good looking old ship. I stayed in cabin R3 its a ...

My family chose this cruise due to the Mobile port location and timing. We were able to get onto the ship quickly with the faster to the fun program. Upon boarding the ship at 12:30pm our cabin was ready as promised and we were able to place our bags into the cabin and tour the ship. Although the ship has a lot of age, it has been maintained very well. The staff is constantly cleaning it on all ...

6-10 Cruises

After a challenging year, my husband and I were looking forward to an affordable getaway in the sun. We drove from Southern Ontario, Canada to Mobile, Alabama, US to board the ship. Mobile felt welcoming, safe and uncrowded. Embarkation was the smoothest of our 9 cruise experiences... pay-by-text parking with plenty of spaces, efficient and attentive staff... it was 15 minutes from our ...

We have cruised on this ship 10+ time and will return for another cruise in October. This is the smallest of the Carnival ships. We enjoy having a fewer number of guests, shorter lines and frankly, just less people everywhere. Sometimes on the larger ships it seems like they increase the cabins but not the common areas. guests who sail on the Fantasy range from babies to seniors, but it always has ...

Feb 23rd - 28th. Inexpensive and close to home. Wonderful 3rd cruise on a Fantasy CLASS ship for joint wife and self vacation. The Fog{ weather no stars } kept us from boarding til 7:30 PM and along with Mardi Gra events made for stressful{!} dembarkation, however, we were so happy to get that email to come to terminal to sail. Yes most people I spoke too were disspointed to miss Progreso Darn ...

We were on a specialty themed cruise, but because it wasn't a full charter we had the experience of both the charter & the Fantasy's normal trip. We had 2 adults & 2 children, the youngest being 4, so the smaller ship could not have worked out better for us!! We had a room on the 6th deck at the back of the boat. Above us were the kids club, dining room, and pool level buffet. This made it so ...

First Time Cruiser

We had a great time traveling to Cozumel on the Fantasy. It rained the first day out but boarding was quick and well organized. The ship is older but well maintained. The staff was amazing and how they all remember everyone's name I will never understand. There were nearly 3000 people on-board but we never felt crowded. Cozumel was fun. We did the snorkel and Aztec ruins tour. The lunch was ...

This was most definitely not our first cruise, in fact, I turned platinum on this cruise, and DH will turn platinum in April. But last year after a great cruise in December to the Bahamas, I said to my DH, I really miss true Mexican food, so when we got home from dinner, we went on line and booked the Fantasy. We had cruised to Mexico from New Orleans, but we wanted to try sailing from Mobile, ...
