We just got off the Norwegian Joy after a 7 day Caribbean cruise to Honduras, Belize, Caya Maya, and Cozumel.. The vacation was awesome, and the food was excellent. My brother has trouble walking long distances and they went out of their way to make our embarking and departing easier for us. They put us in the shorter lines and mobility lines. I would like to give a special thanks to the best ...

This was my first cruise, and I am so happy that I was able to go on one. The organization and skill of employees and staff was fantastic. The staff was so friendly, in every department of the ship. The restaurants were nicely furnished, the staff was so accommodating, and the food was outstanding. The events that were scheduled were professionally done. I really enjoyed the show entitled ...

Feeling Cuts to Pay $11 Billion Pandemic Bond Debt

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Independence of the Seas

Cruise #6 with RCI since 2012. Cost cutting to pay the $11B in pandemic bond debt has really hurt the experience. Food quality and options have declined. Service is hit or miss, with MDR and Windjammer service noticeably worse. Nickel and Diming ($20-ing and $40-ing) for things that aren't worth paying for (e.g. $35 for the escape room, $2 to play skee ball for 30 seconds) -- even the teenagers ...

We just did our first cruise this past week. The food, services, cleanliness, and attendees were wonderful. The only thing that we did not appreciate is how their employees were being exploited. I noticed fairly quickly that all the servers, attendees cools, housekeepers were from very poor countries. The only white faces who were part of the crew was the captain, entertainment, and onboarding. I ...

Great Trip on Norwegian Joy but Spring Break Crowd

My wife and I had an amazing time on board the Norwegian Joy. To start with, the workers at the pier were rude. The gentleman begged for a tip, and lied when he said he’d be bring our our suitcases to our room. When our bags did get to our room a big dent in one corner of my wife’s luggage. Be ready for cabs, hotel transportation and other ways for you to get to the terminal to have signs ...

This was a bit of a last minute decision to book a cruise over Easter weekend and quite a regretful one. We thought, how bad could it be? Let's just say, we won't be doing it again. This ship was packed with lots of families and late spring breakers. We arrived at the port at our scheduled time and pretty much walked onboard. Easy check in and security. We've sailed many times so usually get ...

After exclusively sailing on Oasis Class ships for the previous 10 years I was concerned about going down to Freedom Class with a sailing on Independence. A quick look at the recent reviews here further confirmed that this would be the worst vacation of my life… I’m very pleased to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and would absolutely sail on the Independence of the Seas again! Perhaps ...

Wonderful, wonderful experience! My travel-adverse husband was so happy with everything that we came home and booked our second cruise with VV. Here's what we did: Day 1 - embarkation was smooth and took us only 10-15 minutes. We had booked one of the Rock Star suites so had priority boarding which made wait times much better. Our room was a Cheeky Corner suite that our son recommended. It was ...

My trip to international turf floating on international waters with friendly faces and exceptional service on VIRGIN VOYAGES was top rated and pure fun! The ships food and entertainment was very divers and provocative and will have you wanting more. I'm really regretting I haven't sea traveled before! Now, All I can say is Cheers to VIRGIN VOYAGES for setting up an experience of a lifetime! If ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Horizon

Worst cruise we have ever been on. Food is terrible. Worse food I have ever had. Their soda package is terrible. You have to wait at the bars to get a can of soda - sometimes took upwards of 30 mins. Only decent place to get food was at the burger place and the wait there could be upwards of 40+ minutes. Many activities closed very early (8 pm) so not a whole lot to do after hours unless you ...
