chose ths cruise for the price. did a back to back on this ship and won't ever do that again. officers and crew were excellent, ship is in bad need of repair. bubbles in decks flooring, rust, dirty bathrooms, and cracked speakers made this trip difficult. food selection was lacking, very bland dishes, wait service was very slow in the restaurants. latino music blaring all day and most of the ...
It looks like Deon who is the star of the entire trip: is probably the hardest worker. Yes- everyone looks like they work hard but the teamwork is needed.
Deon excellent with Motown event. The piano singer with beard as Elton John not good which is a shame because the other dancers/ singers are very good and devoted and better than him. I’m sure there’s a superstar within the team to replace ...
Great shows, excellent entertainment team, beautiful ship but cabins are poorly designed and lack storage space. Food was comparable to other cruise lines. Common areas were close to being big enough to handle the passengers with the exception of the silent disco we usually had enough room. The silent disco would have been better in a larger venue like the main pool deck. I would have liked to ...
The ship was quite lovely and large. There were over 4500 passengers but we never felt that it was too crowded. We got upgraded to an Aurea balcony room which was very nice.
We enjoyed the entertainment quite a lot. The shows were dancing, singing, acrobatics, ballet, and similar to Cirque du Soliel. I don't know why anyone would rate the shows down! But you have to sign up for ...
I had been on MSC before but an older ship. I wanted to try their new one. They built it to bring the outside in, so when you walk the ship you can see water on both sides. They extended the deck above the lifeboats so you do not see them from the balconies. I loved the mix of Europeans on board, and not just Americans. We had Italians, French, Germans, UK, South America. the ship has a ...
We were on a 2 week back to back Ultra casino cruise, starting the first week on a western cruise followed by a week in the eastern Caribbean cruise.
I want to say this cruise had a lot of surprises that were positive.
I'll start out with the shows, we were extremely pleased with the quality of the singing, and the dancing! It showed this group had put in a lot of time practicing!
The ...
Our cruise is not what we expected, From the start things we were just disappointed. At Check in we were told that there were no Handicap room and that the ship was completely booked. The Rep that treated us was extremely rude and did not care for environment or our needs. After dealing with a very unpleasant staff member, we proceeded to board and hoped to have a good cruise. That was not what ...
Regent sells this cruise as luxury, which is deceptive. Most of their ships are old which in this case is the Mariner, which is in disrepair [the Navigator which I sailed on is worse the ac could not be fixed and staterooms in aft bounced from the engine room.] The stateroom was not ready for use. The ac temperature was 74 and there was slow airflow. After four calls throughout the day and being ...
This was an Anniversary cruise for us and we were quite pleased with the overall experience (particularly no children on board). My wife's double-doctorate background concluded that, facetiously, Walt Disney must have been involved with Regent's personnel committee because she/we were so, so overwhelmed with the friendly, caring, positive and enthusiastic traits we experienced every single day of ...
Chose cruise because of price and we have never been on MSC. Overall was just ok. Food did not even come close to expectations. We quit going to the dinning room after three tries. Never had TOUGH lobster before, fish overdone and dry, shrimp which I love, could not chew them, roast tough and stringy. Buffet, same, over cooked, poor choices, hamburgers were bone dry not a drop of moisture left in ...
