First time on Virgin Voyages and I would highly recommend. Zero kids! Must be 18 and over to be on the cruise. It was party like. But lots of fun. Also, don’t forget your red for Scarlet Night!
They also strive for a culture of not needing to tip, so not stressing when you don’t have money with you - like at the pool! Lots of shows and activities. The food was great, for the most part - you ...
Had an amazing experience on board the scarlet lady with my husband. The staff especially Marivhe and Ashok were awesome and really hardworking. They were very friendly and attentive to details, cleaned our room thoroughly.
We had lots of fun, had great food, drinks, coffee and enjoyed the entertainment on board the voyage.
Had lovely performances, the night of the scarlet lady event was ...
I love cruises. Being on over 30 so far but this was my first experience on Virgin. I loved the ship on how modern it was and clean. The crew also were very friendly.
The only down side are the following:
- Confusing layout. They need better signs to get you around the ship. Often times the hallway just dead ends. Just adding more signs would be a huge improvement.
Pluses are the rooms ...
I purchased to travel the Dominican, my boyfriend 1st cruise. 56 b- day. We never had been, been to the DR, wed been to Bahamas several times, it's considered a filler stop/ cheap trip. Virgin stated a person fell ill and had to be air lifted, this is unfortunate, (I hope the person recovers and is doing well) people have made their transition on ships and it takes it 4- 6 hrs maybe off course. ...
This was my first Virgin Voyages cruise, but it will not be my last. Virgin Voyages is the benchmark that other cruise lines should be trying to follow. I did not experience anything negative on this cruise. Embarkation and disembarking was quick and easy.
Every staff member that i came into contact with was professional, yet friendly and fun. I never saw one unhappy face anywhere, to include ...
My husband and I decided to take a Virgin Cruise because I’m a teacher and we have a 2 year old, getting away from kids for a week was a priority!! We loved how it was adult friendly, but nothing too fancy for us Midwest middle class. The food was amazing everywhere we ate, even the faster foods in the galley were delicious! The crew were always soooo helpful and friendly. The highlight of the ...
I loved it!!! Virgin likes to do things different and their cruises definitely are different- a good different. Overall everything was excellent- good food, good entertainment and a friendly, energetic crew. This was my second cruise. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth as silk. We loved getting the champagne at the sail away party. For us, it was nice not having to dress up and eat in a ...
This was my second cruise on Virgin. I previously cruised Scarlet Lady July 2023 and was blown away. The cabin, the crew, it was a perfect trip.
I didn't take advantage of the future booking deal onboard that cruise and regretted it immediately. I was delighted when they sent a post cruise offer, not as good but still something. I purchased and booked this cruise immediately. Unfortunately, it ...
So, this was my first cruise ever and Virgin intentionally does things differently. My take is going to be bias and not with other cruises in mind.
I traveled by myself. We went from Miami to Key West to Bimini and then back to Miami for five days/four nights. Virgin Voyages are all 18+ and no kids.
Accessibility: there were some folks using wheelchairs and assistive mobility devices and at ...
My positives of the cruise,
Galley food is amazing, having free soda machines are great. Pizza and ice cream was really good.
Cabin, bed SUCKS. The floor was more comfortable, I slept in the hammock on the balcony.
Shower is the best on any cruises I have been on.
No annoying announcements on the loud speakers all the time.
Negatives
Despite the advertisements, you HAVE to ...
