1-10 of 68 Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Family to the Western Caribbean from Miami
I went on this cruise with my friends and family, and we all had a great time. Because of the big size, it was a little hard to navigate, and The waters were a bit shakey. Other than that, it was mostly smooth sailing. We had a great time, but we did have to miss a stop due to safety issues in Haiti. Perfect day in Coco cay by Royal Caribbean was one of the nicest private islands I've ever been ...
This cruise was for our 3rd anniversery on the 11th. We cruised with Royal last year on Jewel of the Seas last year for our 2nd and had a great time. So this year we decided to take Royal again. And looking at Oasis it seemed like it had a lot of potential for a great time. I can honestly say the only great thing about it has been our room attendant and our immediate wait staff in the dining ...
I sailed Oasis of the Seas for 7 nights last week. The ship left from Miami on 1-21 and returned on 1-28. Overall the cruise was fine but I couldn't help but leaving disappointed. I sailed Oasis years ago when it was new and the largest ship in the world. A couple of years later I sailed on the sister ship, Allure of the Seas. Both ships were outstanding back then. It's hard to believe that ...
We had an amazing time celebrating NY on the Oasis. We chose this cruise because we loved the idea of a longer cruise that included stops in Curaçao and Aruba which were new to us.
Cabin
Went with a balcony guarantee and got deck 6 forward near the Vitality Spa and gym. I was worried about movement but it was minimal and was a great cabin. Very quiet, great location only 1 deck up from the ...
Where do I even begin?! This was a NYE cruise and we wish we didn't go! The Oasis sailed out of Port of Miami on Dec 29 and returned on January 7th. Ports of call included Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, Curacao, Aruba, and Jamaica. Embarking on the ship was not an easy, quick experience at all. The port was insanely busy needless to say. Getting on the ship itself is long and tedious, and the workers at ...
This year we decided to take a Christmas cruise with our family and Oasis of the Seas seemed a good choice, but what a let down! As a diamond member I've cruised more than 15 times with RCL and never expected this regression, it seemed a Carnival Cruise but more expensive. At dinner you could barely move between tables since the ship had more than 6700 passengers and tables were added to fit all ...
The best cruise we’ve ever been on was a 2011 family Christmas cruise on Freedom of the Seas. Every other one we’ve gone on since then, whether on Carnival or Royal, hasn’t lived up to that high standard, and things are moving consistently in the wrong direction. This sailing on Oasis did nothing to turn that trend around.
Carnival has the reputation for nickel-and-diming their way through ...
This was certainly not one of the better cruises we have taken on Royal Caribbean. We flew to Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday, 11/12/23 and got on the Royal Caribbean shuttle to Miami. We were a quarter mile from the Royal Caribbean terminal and the bus broke down on the highway. After sitting in the hot bus for an hour we transferred to another bus and was shuttled to the terminal. By this time most ...
There were four of us traveling. We made reservations over a year ago. When we checked in my sister’s reservation was missing they would not let her through security with the rest of us to board so we were separated us, letting 3 of us on the ship but she was not allowed instead she was sent to an office , we had to wait for her on the Promenade for more than half an hour, when she finally did ...
We booked this cruise because we've enjoyed our cruises on similar class ships--especially Allure, then Harmony. Also, we booked well in advance and got a reasonable price. Wanted something that cruised out of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.
First, for the PRO'S:
1)The ship has an impressive look with the beautiful Central Park and fun Boardwalk.
2)This ship offered Pickleball every ...
