A lovely ship with some issues to work out
"We're freshly-back from a 4-night Bahamas cruise that I would normally rate as average aside from one crew member's attitude nudging things lower. Previously, we have sailed on NCL and Princess cruises with a..."Read More

There was kids sail free promotion going on with Royal Caribbean Cruise and this was perfect sailing for our group. This was our first cruise and wanted to go on short cruise. We were 28 passengers in group including kids. Ship is recently rebuild so interior is modern and rooms are spacious. We were all had interior rooms but still found spacious enough even 4 of us (2 + 2). Staff were ...

I'll start off with the disclaimer that I am comparing this to all of our previous family cruises in non-suite staterooms. We were fortunate, however, to get into the family suite for a reasonable price by booking early. With that said, our 4 night adventure on Mariner of the Seas was outstanding. This was my first time on Mariner of the Seas, but I have been on other Voyager class ships ...

We went to celebrate my daughter's graduation from college., we were very disappointed with Royal Caribbean we probably will not sail again, we were promised an upgrade that never happened, stuck in a little tiny room, a late meal time that we didn't choose, entertainment was non-existen, the Promenade deck was like a flea market with Carnival barkers, everything seem to have an extra charge to ...

Embarkation: from curb to lobby 15 minutes. We arrived around 11 am. Debarkation we carried our own bags off left ship about 8 where at the curb by 8:15! The ship was clean, lots of areas to sit and take in some great people watching. Service was good to excellent. It seemed that some of the bar servers where less than thrilled to be there. But drinks were still great we never went ...

We selected this cruise as it suited our holiday dates. It was just after the Easter holiday weekend. It was a cruise to the Bahamas which has been a dream destination for us and we particularly liked that it was 4 days only as we were first time cruisers with our 3 children of varying ages and we had experience of motion sickness with our kids and myself and were wary of too long a stay on ...

I have not sailed on the Voyager class - have been on all the others but somehow missed the Voyager class - Mariner was like an abbreviated Independence of the Seas! Anyway, I usually dislike weekend cruises because of the hassles boarding and disembarking - lines, crowds, chaos AND the cruise lines typically use older, less feature rich ships. So when I saw the Mariner OS pop up and I found out ...

We booked this cruise with extended family. First stop was CocoaCay. All the on ship advertising and email that we received mislead us to believe that the water park and resort style pool was open. The staff on the ship agreed with me that our kids will have a wonderful time on the waterslides at CocoaCay. When we got there, it is still under construction. Really disappointed the kids. ...

Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas is exquisitely impressive, and we were very pleased with the abundance of friendly, pleasant and energetic staff, especially the cruise director, Hugo. My husband and I had cruised with a different line in 2004, and we were very disappointed with most of the cruise. I was hesitant to book another cruise, but thought I would try Royal Caribbean per my travel ...

This was the third Royal Caribbean cruise for my fiance and I. We've sailed on Oasis of the Seas and Enchantment of the Seas, and thought Mariner would be a good in-between. Since the cruise was short, this was a precursor to a Disney trip we took after disembarking. We chose Mariner because it was recently updated and appeared to have great night life. We flew into Miami the evening before ...

We travelled as a family of 3 - Mom, Dad and our 7yr old daughter. We chose Mariner as the itinerary worked for us and we’ve cruised Royal previously. We were also looking forward to the newer amenities offered since the ship’s recent revamp. Embarkation: Dead easy. We booked a Jr Suite so we were swept up to the Suite lounge once we arrived at around 1:30pm. Once our docs were checked we were ...
