We wanted a cruise to simply relax and not run ragged with shore excursions. We did take 1 shore excursion which turned out to be pretty good. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. So exceptional we asked for the same table each night just to be with the same waiter, assistant waiter and headwaiter. All of the crew smiled and said hello including the officers. The theater shows ...
This was our first ABC islands cruise and 2nd time on Explorer! The ship does not disappoint. The crew were amazing, super friendly and attentive. It's definitely fun to be on a Halloween cruise with the costume parades, ships decorations, Halloween desserts in the Windjammer! Interior of ship was spotless. Food in all dining areas tasty. Entertainment as always on Royal Caribbean was excellent. ...
Chose this cruise to visit islands of Aruba, Curocao and Bonaire. Good dive islands but wasnt the greatest for things to do. Booked through travel agent and did the online checkin, packages, etc. The app worked very well for me throughout the trip. Had a few drops but didnt have the net pkg so expected that. Embarkation went well. Ship size was very good for me. Big enough to stay busy but small ...
Cruise was just the wife and me. We booked a guaranteed balcony. We got our room assigned about 3 weeks before sailing. We got room 6338. This turned out to be the largest balcony room we have had. Plenty of room. The balcony does have the steel on lower part, but this didn't really brother us at all. The ship is showing it age in parts, but overall, in decent shape. We also found the ship very ...
We did a 17 night sailing....which was a back to back sailing.
This is a beautiful ship. It was a great vacation, and had some great places to visit.
We were on the ship for Halloween and so many people brought costumes and it was so much fun! 2nd time for us sailing on Halloween.
The ship had a silent disco, and that was an absolute blast and a total crack up! Once you took ...
I recently got off the Carnival Sunrise is September, I enjoyed that cruise so much, that when I returned home, I immediately booked another Carnival Cruise. I found this 4 day cruise on the Conquest that fitted in my work schedule.
My boarding group was C04, with a boarding time of 11-11:30am, I arrived at the Carnival terminal around 10:30am and immediately went to check in. It was a very ...
My first MSC cruise on Seaside was fantastic. There was a variety of entertainment for all. However, on the Divina there was no variety of entertainment and late night music was limited to one venue and catered to a much younger crowd. And unfortunatly the entertainment provided was repetitive and limited to the shows, name that tune and trivia. MSC Seaside had comedy shows and other music ...
MSC needs to learn some lessons and modify their operations if they want to compete in the US market. We specifically took this short 4 day cruise as a test case since we hadn't been on MSC before, and we were contemplating an Atlantic crossing/repo cruise on MSC Divina next year.
1. Boarding process took over 2 hours (and we were in early group).
2. Told we could eat/drink at sports bar ...
We originally booked this cruise for a group of 10 pre covid that was rescheduled 4 times. We were traveling from literally all over the world and were supposed to be on Carnival Freedom but Carnival changed our ship about 3 moths prior to the cruise.
We had last sailed on spirit in Australia in December 2019 and enjoyed the ship/entertainment and crew, but unfortunately it appears that ...
I had a negative experience on my most recent sailing. I am an avid cruiser and went in with low expectations as MSC is known for poor customer service, but this was one of the worst cruises I've been on.
1) The internet package was terrible. I could not even download emails for the majority of the trip.
2) The food in the dinning room was terrible. The quality was poor, taste not good, and ...
