Sirena Transatlantic cruise - 16 nights.

This is my second cruise on the Sienna and I recommend this smaller ship. It is elegant and the friendly staff will treat you like royalty. The cabin is comfortable, clean and roomy. Oceania is known for their luxury dining and they won't disappoint you. Even in the Café, they will grill your lobster tails, lamp chops, or steaks to perfection. We weren't sure if we would be bored on an 8 day ...

Just returned from my 16 night cruise on the Sirena. It was fabulous. Great service, food, accommodations, entertainment. I had sailed Athens to Rome last year on Sirena. It was great to be back on a familiar ship. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The food great. The two specialty restaurants (Red Ginger and Tuscan Steak) were very special. Particularly great service and ...

Fabulous cruise, horrible air arrangements

Cruise could not have been better, only glitch was arriving in Granada 4 hours late, so we missed out excursion to Alhambra, which was the site we had most looked forward to visiting. I suggest the itenary be tweeked in future to allow more time in this port, perhaps an overnight. Shore excursions were lacking the audio sets we are accustom to on other ships. It was difficult to hear ...

Forget the Sirena; book a different ship

We chose the Sirena because of a very good price on a transatlantic cruise, and because we loved our cruises on the Oceania Nautica and Riviera. The Sirena, like the other two ships has an outstanding staff. The captain, the dining room waiters, the stateroom people, all fantastic. Also the ship is very handsomely furnished and spotlessly clean. Every day we saw people cleaning, polishing, ...

After mostly taking Carnival Cruises in the past, with the exception of another trans-atlantic we did on Celebrity, Oceania was a huge upgrade. The food was excellent and the ship was very clean and nice. I was especially impressed by the crew. They went out of their way at all times to help us and to pleasantly greet us. A few minor things for us that maybe could have been better: 1. The ...

I had sailed on Oceania 3 times on the Marina & Riviera the disappointment was not about the size of the ship it was the decline of Oceania in general. Embarkation: Process went well, fast and easy. Walked aboard, instead of a glass of champagne and staff with smiles, we received this comment, "Need to see your sea pass card. After giving it to him, he said, "your cabin won't be ready ...

My brother and brother in law are frequent Oceania cruiser and convinced my husband and I to join them. What a wonderful experience, from exceptional food, staff and comfort. The majority of the entertainment was exceptional. A string quartet which played everyday at tea as well as in the grand hall and a night in the Sirena ounge were extremely talented. As musicians we tend to have high ...

Change is not always a good thing

Wanting to celebrate my birthday in a different setting, we chose the Sirena based primarily on the itinerary. We have sailed on Oceania Marina (twice) and the Riviera once so this was not our first experience with Oceania. However, as many other past customers of Oceania discussed not only on this forum, but speaking with many on this particular cruise, Oceania has definitely changed and ...
